They're lovely (although the one with Madge looks very posed!)
Am always struck by who like her mum Lourdes is, and Rocco is a mini Guy!!!

tinbus · 26/10/2006 21:48

ah pity there wasnt more pics...
the photo's look like those family snaps one would take, not those posed ones

Naughtynoonoo · 26/10/2006 22:49

They were lovely pics weren't they? Most be awful being a celeb and having pics of your child(ren) posted everywhere though, think there identity should be kept anom.

7up · 26/10/2006 22:51

WitchICouldGiveUpWork · 26/10/2006 22:53

Understand what you are saying Naughtynonoo but i havea sneaky suspicionthey may ave known these pics were beign taken

colditz · 26/10/2006 22:55

Why take a child that has a parent, why?

Naughtynoonoo · 26/10/2006 22:55

Yeah I think they prob did know the pics were being taken WitchICouldGiveUpWork, but had a nose at other celebs and they don't look very posed at all - quite scary really as they are only innocent children.

SofiaAmes · 26/10/2006 23:43

colditz, according to madonna, she picked him up from an orphanage and did not know at first that he did have a parent. As part of the adoption process in malawi you have to get a relative to "approve" the adoption. It seems that when they went looking for such a relative they found a father. A father who had given the child up at 2 weeks old and had never visited him afterwards. The child had several siblings as well as his mother who had already died of disease and hunger. Anything she can offer has to be better than growing up in an orphanage.

I would feel much happier about the whole thing if there they had ben able to avoid so much press coverage and that she hadn't flown straight off to the States when he came home.

I think he will need some careful handling as he grows in order to make sense of the two strange worlds that made him.

DottieParker · 27/10/2006 00:10

vile. She's simply vile darling.

sorrell · 27/10/2006 00:26

She didn't go to the states. She's in London

Greensleeves · 27/10/2006 00:31

Skin-crawling.

sorrell · 27/10/2006 00:33

What's skin crawling? Caring for a small child with serious pneumonia and nobody to love him? If that's skin crawling, sign me up.

I envy her. I'd love to do the same.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/10/2006 00:44

They are lovely pics. I gather the father has spoken out in her favour now?

scarysuejonez · 27/10/2006 09:40

Is she Sorrell - didn't she do the Oprah Winfrey show in the US then, did they film it here? The audience was all American?

scarysuejonez · 27/10/2006 09:42

I am not anti-madonna adopting btw but very sad that the little boys difficult first few weeks here have been dogged by publicity. I thought the scenes of the Press trying to photograph him arriving in the country were shameful.

ScareyCaligulaCorday · 27/10/2006 09:45

God I can't believe there's a site called babyrazzi. That's really vile.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 27/10/2006 09:54

did the baby come with a name or did she name him?

no idea purplemonkeydishwasher - why?

scarysuejonez · 27/10/2006 09:59

I would suspect it was his birth name - she does tend to pick slightly more exotic nams for her children doesn't she?
