I seriously don't know what to do with the rage and hatred I feel towards the attackers at times like this! My heart goes out to all of the loved ones. This is so unimaginably horrific. It sounds supremely selfish to say this, and it isn't meant to at all, but this will completely depress me for days.

Those poor babies, the terror they must have felt. It just defies all logical thought, only barbaric animals could do this to children. Disgusting.

I have no idea where you start to resolve this problem. I've said for years that war is not the answer but how do you negotiate with the Taliban? Who would want to negotiate with the dirty twisted sick animals that they are?

My feeling is that as time goes on the West will leave them to it because western intervention has only made it worse. The Taliban problem will be for countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan to deal with. The Taliban and organisations like them will grow stronger and people who have the misfortune of being born there will have to live under their rule. It's very sad but nobody has any answers.

Poor, poor children and parents, how will they ever cope. May the perpetrators rot in hell.

There are certainly people out there who condone these actions. Feel it's a big big battle which will certainly get worse and escalate

A Mumsnetter recently suggested all Afghani women and children should have asylum status here. Fucking Taliban's reach is scary.

It also puts into the context the few atrocities we have here in the west which are imo often just lone loonies rather than dangerous 'sane' ideologues.

What on earth is the rationale for something like this? Even in the twisted minds of Taliban? They oppose education? They want revenge on the Pakistani army by killing their children? What??? Utterly horrendous.

My cousin's children are at an army school in Pakistan but thankfully not that one.
It's just so horrendous. I just hope that all the Taliban sympathisers out there wake up now and realise how evil and despicable they are.

BBC News had a commentator who basically said the Taliban won't negotiate because they don't want to meet anyone halfway. It's their way or death. So that doesn't leave the other parties much choice.

The people need to be the change. The people need to reject this and realise that it could so easily be them and theirs who are in the wrong place at the wrong time. The people need to realise they do have the power to reject the Taliban's ideology and violence - easier said than done, I know.

I don't know what anyone could hope to achieve with this. If there is a hell, I hope they are in it.
