Yes, Zulu. It was when I saw the rods showing that he changed aim towards the sound of the magazine rack being hit that I decided he was guilty of premed murder if the defence could not refute that.

OP says the magazine rack was to the back of the toilet. I don't know why, but he did. It seems (to me) a not-major point.

Wolmaran says that the blood around the foot of the magazine rack meant that it was where it's photographed when she bled.

I should have said; 'everyone agrees put's OP's version of where the magazine rack was when he opened the toilet as wrong'. Not that it made the whole lot wrong.

This may be relevant, because he said he heard it move. I'm not sure.

To me the fact that Oscar said it was at the back of the cubicle is not important. Or is it? It may not have been the reality, but doesn't it serve him better to have said it was where it actually was? (ie. more possibly able to have been moved by Reeva, causing him to think the 'intruder' was about to exit the cubicle)?

Yes, I can read it that way too.

I can also read it as being the first place from which he could shoot in anger. If he'd charged off, got his gun, charged back and instantly started shooting.

I don't think it's clear cut either way.

The blood spatter HIGH, meaning the head was in the position concommitant with her sitting on the magazine rack NOT the floor.

The position of falling onto the toilet seems far more likely from the higher position, than managing to fall over the toilet than from the floor.

The bullet fragment mirroring the wounds.

For me, this means that Reeva was SITTING, however briefly, on that rack when she was shot in the head.

If she was on the rack then, then there was TIME for her to fall there.

If there was time for her to fall there then that fits with the Burger's evidence too.

And means that OP PAUSED after the first shot.

This and the laser evidence shows that in all probability he SHIFTED his postion.

AND he had time to hear her scream - then change position and finish her off.

VERY important today, not least to get the prosecution story repeated and clarified. And to show the great likelihood that it is correct.

The magazine rack was said to have moved prior to him shooting (the noise was what prompted him to shoot, according to his version), whereas he couldn't supposedly hear the screams once he started shooting because of the sound of the shots.

The magazine rack moved before the shots in OP's version as he mistook the sound of wood moving as the intruder opening the toilet door.

OP said that he realised that the noise he heard inside the toilet must have been the magazine rack moving and that was why he started firing

Later OP said that the magazine rack was in a different position and looked as though it had been picked up and placed there. When questioned re blood etc he said he felt that some could have been made by his socks.

Wolmaran has made the somehow startling point, that to fire 4 shots, you have to pull the trigger 4 times. So the gun went off in his hand 4 times.
