now how did the toddler end up in hatfield?

\link{ news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/beds/bucks/herts/5255170.stm\here}

i mean, did he get taken, did he get on a train, how? was he actually left with relatives, or is he from hatfield, and was home alone?

Any more news on this little mite?

desperateSCOUSEwife · 10/08/2006 18:54

zookeeper yes i am for real
and i am not vile

most of the time that is

after reading todays mirror report I still feel justified in what I said about the stupid bint

but i do agree that parents are not selfish if they go away on hols if the kids are looked after properly

geekgrrl · 10/08/2006 20:26

did you read in today's Mirror that she doesn't strap him into a car seat when driving?

Surely that is good enough for a conviction by the High Court of Mumsnet??!! (never mind her criminal career)

Gingeme · 10/08/2006 20:36

I think they should leave the little boy with the foster family for good. He might have some chance of growing up without following in his families criminal footsteps!!

Kathlean · 10/08/2006 21:03

It doesn't say she has done anything since the age of 13 though and that doesn't make her a bad mother.

It also doesn't say she was the one who didn't strap the boy into the car, it could have been the granny!

Mind you she was stupid to leave him with her brother.

Read this today and thought of this thread...

"here is no record of further offences, and in 2003 she moved to England to live with her mother Betty." (that's since 1998) - nearly 10yrs ago - think it's being a bit harsh tbh of blaming her for all of this..........

PhysicsBird · 13/08/2006 18:58

Yes, I thought so too. She was clearly upset and felt guilty about what had happened.
