Since 10 o'clock this morning now. I feel completely useless. It's thought they ran away. Sat here watching circling helicopters, I was told it wasn't necessary to go out looking by one of the mums (lives a few doors away) but i feel i should be doing something. What what you do?

fingers crossed they are found soon and ok. Does seem a bit ott if they may have just played truant.

I suppose because sending a helicopter out after school hours is even more poinless, as most children will be playing out on a warm day.

THEY'VE FOUND THEM Hiding in a field, having just skimmed though I agree it seems a little ott to be using a helicopter but since there are so many fields around here it would harm to search just by car/foot. I'd also like to think had it been my ds (only a yr younger) that they would look properly. I don't really know any other details but they're safe. Still loads of police around and a helicopter too which seems a bit weird to me.

Thank god for that...

bet they are in for a roasting though, should put them off doing something so stupid again!

Completely!! Mind you since my ds has run away several times now (the longest for 2 hrs and yes the police were called) although not from school, i'm not convinced!

Feel a little silly for starting this but I was just so concerned that I had to air it to see what you thought. So relieved that all's well.

Thank goodness, just before you posted that they were safe, I had to go check the news to see....visions of Holly & Jessica. So glad they are safeSmile.

Bet they get a hiding or telling off from their mummys.

Little s*ds!!! Angry However I'm sure they didn't mean to make quite so much trouble - but once they realised all the fuss was about them they were probably scared to come home.

But very very glad they are OK...Smile
