A teenage schoolgirl has been stabbed on a bus this morning.

Here. She didn't survive. I am just so shocked. How can you be killed on the way to school?

I can't get my head round sending your child to school on the bus and them not getting to school, or ever coming home again.

Other reports are saying she was 15 and that it may have been a male friend that did it.

I suspect the news will slowly come out and by this time tomorrow we will be seeing a smiling girl in her school uniform in a picture in the Daily Fail etc.

Just heard on the radio that it was an older teenager/early twenties man (black I think) who ran off. He was wearing dark jeans and dark coloured hoodie.

It really is beyond belief, I feel so sad for her family.

This is terrible.

How awful. A friend lives round there. She has a ds though who goes to one of the boys schools.

I am not a million miles away. It came up on our travel news this morning that the Hagley Roads was shut but didn't pay much attention.

Tragedy . Busses need a secure system for young people when they know these tragedies are likely to occur.

A 22 year old man has been arrested.

And the victim has been named as Christina Edkins

I heard it on the radio travel news too this morning (we must be in similar area)

I presumed there had been a fatal accident but I never imagined something like this.
