by officers on Operation Yewtree. Where's it going to end? Is anyone not a sexual offender?*

  • Yes I know plenty aren't.

Imagine the dirt he has on the rest of them

headfairy · 06/12/2012 13:52

Does it make a difference chrismissy if its the police who release the name? I know they released Stuart Hall's name to try and encourage other victims to come forward.

Max Clifford, one of the best known publicists in Britain, has been arrested by officers investigating sexual abuse claims against Jimmy Savile and others.

The Metropolitan police said on Thursday morning that officers working on Operation Yewtree arrested "a man in his sixties" at his Surrey home at 7.04am "on suspicion of sexual offences".

Clifford, 69, is the arrestee. He has been taken to a central London police station for questioning.

I thought the one mentioned on here not Max has a SI.

LoopsInHoops · 06/12/2012 13:57

a SI? Confused Oh, tie the kangaroo?

LoopsInHoops · 06/12/2012 13:58

Do I need those posts removed?

FivesGoldNorks · 06/12/2012 13:58

Yes he has been arrested on suspicion of sexual offences, not perverting the course of justice

KrisMoose · 06/12/2012 13:59

How would anyone know there was a SI? The whole point of a SI rather and an I is that even the knowledge of it being there can't be revealed.

hope you understand me

LoopsInHoops · 06/12/2012 14:00

Because Kris the name hasn't been mentioned in any mainstream media yet is out there

This thread will go if you keep naming the other one.

headfairy · 06/12/2012 14:06

chrissy the police usually do. I know they wanted to with RH but he's got a high court writ, rightly so I think in his case. He's not been charged or even arrested but any association with Operation Yewtree is tantamount to conviction by media.

I never got bad vibes from either of them tbh. I suspect someone is pointing fingers and Clifford is an easy target because of his work - people assume he is hiding unpalatable truths about his clients, but he did say that if he suspected someone he would tell the police, and I did believe him when he said that. Maybe he is being asked about ex/clients.

LoopsInHoops · 06/12/2012 14:06

Have reported form MNHQ to sort out. No more naming the other guy.

KrisMoose · 06/12/2012 14:07

Surely they want Max Clifford to do a plea bargain and reveal what he knows...

headfairy · 06/12/2012 14:07

I know this thread will go poof...
