My friend had a totally flat tummy 7 days after giving birth. It's miraculous. She and Rachel Flintoff are totally different animals from most of us.

Feel a bit uncomfortable about that really - it's hardly what the average new mother looks like on leaving hospital is it?!

SM - my friend was the same, although she is so completely skinny normally. Her stomach is actually concave!

I did aswell, its nothing I did I just had a concave stomach before falling pregnant

My friend is a yoga type and naturally thin.
I am too, but only in my dreams. Grin

I was back in my jeans a week after giving birth.

There is no way on earth however that my stomach is ever seeing the light of day. Flat maybe, crepey yes indeedy.

Some of us are just naturally annoying Smile.

And lets not start on the too posh to push v natural, it does not matter

OO - same here really - I'm very slim but the skin is all crinkly so I can't be showing it off!! Very annoying as it's only gone like that after ds3 - he was just one baby too many Grin

Why is it that as women we congratulate each other for being thin?
I never felt as beautiful and sexy as i did when i was pregnant and huge.

Mine was like that after 1, like the top of a rice pudding after 2!

But I was all bump as they say, so it was stretch overload at the front.

she can't have had a section and a tummy tuck - even superman couldn't lift a newborn in a car seat less than a week after major abdominal surgery.
She looks great. Envy

I feel beautiful pregnant or thin, its just the way I am. Yes Im lucky, but I do eat well and exercise when I get the chance. Plus my tummys not crepey, apart from the c-section scar you'd never know Ive had a baby.

If youre big and happy great, if youre thin and happy great

Just dont judge others on their size

I think Charlotte Church is lovely and she's not thin, she is just right (still not bulgy or flabby - hm - wonder if she would be flashing her belly straight after first baby Grin)

I made the fatal post pregnancy mistake of weighing myself yesterday... 2 1/2 weeks on, and I've not even lost the weight of DS!!! I'm trying to tell myself that it is my norks weighing me down, and not that I've actually managed to gain weight during 2 weeks of not much food, oodles of breastfeeding and trying to chase round toddler whilst carrying newborn!!

Can we not have just one celeb photographed with a flabby crepey tummy just after birth??? It'd make the ones like me feel sooo much better!

She doesn't look like she has lost her tummy to me. She is just being very brave to show it like that (and stupid, isn't it nearly freezong out at the moment? oh I know I am old and appreciate the virtue of "wrapping up warmly")

Oooh, Jade Goody has colossal stretch marks, Fs - I saw a pic in Heat or somewhere of her playing netball Shock and she does not have a smooth flat belly.
