Would I?!

I'm feeling guilty now, 'cos this is quite a sad thread really and we're being silly! Although I haven't had a giggle in ages, and I've just PSML at the "Lady Garden" thread I was looking at!

Feel much better now!

mumatuks · 29/01/2006 22:05

AlmostAnAngel · 29/01/2006 22:11

i dont know i was aking you lol

starlover · 29/01/2006 22:12

is it a joke, or do you actually want to know?

mumatuks · 29/01/2006 22:14

oh I thought it was a joke!! Durr! (me!)

Maybe the mutate on all the stuff in the sewer and then the come back up your toilet and bite you on the butt!

I would hope they go to the big goldfish bowl in the sky personally... and yes, I'll be checking now before I sit down on the toilet!

AlmostAnAngel · 29/01/2006 22:15

snakes come up toilets saw that on the news

starlover · 29/01/2006 22:15

they would go to the waste water treatment plant.... all the dirty water comes gushing in... it goes through some filters where all the larger material is got out.
that is then ground down into a sludge.

so that's where the fish would end up. sorry!

starlover · 29/01/2006 22:16

yeah, i think anything big enough and heavy enough, (and alive) would be able to livei n a sewer because the flow of water wouldn't be enough to wash it away.
anything small or dead would get ground up

mumatuks · 29/01/2006 22:18

Hmm, I wonder if they get a pile of dead goldfish up against the grate that filters everything?!

I should've known what happens.. I did watch the episode of "Come Outside" (with DS1 of course!) where Aunt Mable goes to the water treatment works.

AlmostAnAngel · 29/01/2006 22:18

ooh shes the nurse gladys out of open all hours!

starlover · 29/01/2006 22:19

lucky you! i had to VISIT it on a geography field trip.
i actually puked because the smell was so vile! they made us climb up to where all the water was pouring in, full of shit and goldfish and used tampons and other manky stuff

mumatuks · 29/01/2006 22:19

yeah thats her! I like that program, its one of them that doesn't bother me to sit and watch it!

mumatuks · 29/01/2006 22:20

UGh, sounds awful we never got to visit anywhere like that! Can't remember going anywhere for geography trip actually...

Hallgerda · 30/01/2006 07:55

Starlover, a friend of the family used to give tours of sewage works to school children. He used to start with "It may look like sewage to you, but it's my bread and butter".

starlover · 30/01/2006 12:41

hallgerda! ewww! lol

we watched the whole cleaning process and then they offered us a glass of water from where it all comes out!
despite being clean we all turned it down! lol

starlover · 30/01/2006 12:41
