I think my DH has a sense of humour!
There have however been quite a few reports in the national and specialist care press recently about individuals who had a good quality of life and were far younger than the DOE being made subject to DNR "orders" without consultation or consent. DOE was reported some timeback as having prostate cancer and some of the poor people who have been at risk of not receiving treatment were those who had cancer but were in remission or having treatment that was going well.
