DH just texted me to tell me this. Our MP is on Big Brother? This is a sign of the end times, right? What on earth is going on?

Dennis is an incoherent knob with an attitude problem. He has not even risen from his pit yet I don't think!

Enid · 06/01/2006 13:05

thanks for those kikisdee

he is fabulous

NomDePlume · 06/01/2006 13:06

Rodman is nuts, but generally a pretty good guy (i think)

BBWBabeLisa · 06/01/2006 13:07

I thought it was particularly dim of Faria to say "I'm not seeking limelight" in her Celebrity Big Brother intro clip. Is it just me or is this totally incongruent? Really got my back up.

Lis

SleepyJess · 06/01/2006 13:11

Yeah Faria is a puzzle. She is famous ONLY for shagging FA boss and Sven.. and then very deliberately and self-confessedly selling her story to the tabloids... and then, obviously, suffering the fall-out of this from the public.

She has gone on BB to change the public's image of her judging by her whiney, contradictory blurb. However, if you are ONLY 'famous' for doing what she did, how is going on a show like BB going to help? If she really cares what the public thinks she needs to do something worthwhile.

Lucycat · 06/01/2006 13:12

or go and get a job awat from the media limelight - not appearing on bb fgs.

Lucycat · 06/01/2006 13:12

away even

Rowlers · 06/01/2006 13:18

Don't like Fariah or anything she stands for - marriage-wrecking, fame-seeking, greed, self-absorbtion, desperate attention-seeking.
Grow up sad cow.
Thought Preston was quite cute and liked him in his little "promo" thing they ran before he went in. Never heard of him though.
GG = repulsive compulsive self-publicising arrogant twat.
Who's that Tracey woman? She'll irritate us all, mark my words.

SleepyJess · 06/01/2006 13:19

Some Baywatch tart. She has an annoying accent.. must be the part of the US she is from. Wish she'd go back there.. now!

Lucycat · 06/01/2006 13:21

Didn't think either of Faria's 'conquests' were married - were they?

BBWBabeLisa · 06/01/2006 13:21

I reckon Dennis Rodman knows she's (Traci whatsit) a bit of a bunny boiler from the way he's been avoiding her like the plague. Definite history there.

NotQuiteCockney · 06/01/2006 13:52

HC, want to start a "lalalalala, I can't hear you, don't want to be tempted by BB" club?

Because I am so there. I really am tempted to watch, only if I start, I might not stop. And I've never watched any of these sorts of shows, and would rather not start ...

I have some sympathy for FA - she only sold her story AFTER the big expose in which she was depicted as a complete slapper and had all sorts of vile things written about her and lost her job. I wouldn't think it would be that easy for her to get another job.

ruty · 06/01/2006 14:05

i've always liked galloway in spite of myself - i love the way he handles journalists, and the way he handled the American accusations. I've always leaned towards believing he was innocent. As someone who voted for Oona King when i lived in bethnal Green i thought Paxman was terribly patronising to her by attacking Galloway for getting rid of her - it wasn't his fault the constituents wanted someone else. But he has obviously got a huge ego - and agree he's not serving his constituents as an MP by going in to BB. Do you think he consulted any of them before going in?

Caligula · 06/01/2006 14:06

I don't know what she's supposed to have done wrong. She shagged 2 blokes at work, both of whom were unmarried. And then they sacked her, so she took them to court, iirc. And then the media besieged her, so she thought "sod it, I'm living this nightmare, I may as well make some money out of it seeing as I'm unemployed".

Tacky but not evil.

Just saw a clip with George Galloway talking about Islam to her. Aaaaaaargh! Had to turn it off.

Rowlers · 06/01/2006 14:54

True - marriage-wrecking wrong term but Eriksson had a long-term partner in Nancy whatsoerface no? Same thing in my books.
GG talks brilliantly I agree but it's all pomp and rhetoric. Sounds convincing and he can certainly hold his own in a debate but there is something intrinsically unpleasant (and imo untrustworthy) about the man.

Aloha · 06/01/2006 17:32

God, she hardly broke up that relationship! Sven's been shagging other women forever, and Nancy knows about it.
He was the one with the partner, not her. I think he should take any flak.
