Absolutely outrageous.

I hope but sincerely doubt that they are thoroughly ashamed of themselves

You can't be real. Your comments are strictly wind up material

Bollocks, Rob, you are just too lazy to bother checking your facts. The propensity to violence has nothing to do with class, or race, or any demographic apart from gender AFAIK. If you know different, let's see your facts.

Morloth · 24/06/2011 05:16

Being attacked by a Fulham mummy must be like being flogged with limp lettuce, hard they ain't, I reckon your average 6 year old could take them.

Kallista · 24/06/2011 12:13

I reckon some people (regardless of class) just enjoy being aggressive. My mum won't go back to the local swimming pool after being threatened by a woman in the changing room.
This woman's son was playing with the hairdryers ie. switching them all up to full heat then blocking the vents - my mum was scared he would get electrocuted or start or fire.
She looked at him just once - and the boy's mother started screeching 'you bitch, he's just playing, don't look at my son like that' etc. Of course she never stopped him.
At my private gym the changing rooms are nice but..i have seen 2 arguements between the MC middle aged women over the sunshower queue FGS.

edam · 24/06/2011 23:27

Morloth - the kid she attacked can't have been more than ten, if that. Poor girl was extremely distressed. Ghastly woman drove past, spotted the girl, yelled abuse, screetched to a halt (blocking the road), leaped out and started laying into the girl. It was awful. Took two men to pull her off the poor kid.

Morloth · 25/06/2011 00:30

How utterly bizarre, I can honestly say that in all my years immersed in the Fulham Mummy world I have never met anyone who would do that.

As lovely as they are they are far more likely to cry into their coffees if a child is mean to them.

Whereabouts in Fulham? Ponders if she knows crazy mummy...

edam · 25/06/2011 00:42

Morloth - I wasn't a Mummy last time I lived in Fulham (about 13 years ago) but yes, I was shocked.

Don't want to be too specific about location as I've already been spotted on here by people who know me IRL when I've been too open about my home location, I'd rather not make the same mistake with work.

Violence is NEVER the answer and even if you don't believe the paper printed the 'facts' incorrectly at least they bothered to spellcheck!

londonmackem · 25/06/2011 22:57

'facts' correctly - sorry

Feenie · 25/06/2011 23:00

Shock Are you for real, chan36? You've just confirmed everything I suspected about the kind of people who were responsible. Jesus.

Feenie · 25/06/2011 23:01

And you actually joined mumsnet to make that post? [shocked]

hmc · 25/06/2011 23:11

There is no spell check facility on mn londonmackem, and whilst I don't condone chan36's post, I deplore elitist responses which focus on spelling and grammar. Really poor form - argue the issues if you must....but it is really low to patronise posters over literacy issues. There are all sorts of reasons why people's written english may not be A1

Feenie · 25/06/2011 23:14

Not that one, it isn't, it confirms stereotypes. That particular poster doesn't need your defence.

psiloveyou · 25/06/2011 23:15

chan36 are you a friend of the attacker?. You actually give some credibility to robFs theories.

Also think DooinMeCleanin makes a valid point. Can we assume she gave her cheating dh a good kicking as well.

hmc · 25/06/2011 23:18

I'm not defending her position.

hester · 26/06/2011 00:51

chan, are you for real or is this a saturday night piss-take?

hmc, I agree.

RobF · 26/06/2011 15:14

What did Chan say?

Jaquelinehyde · 26/06/2011 15:28

Yes what was said we all want to know now!

DooinMeCleanin · 26/06/2011 15:32

It was pretty much along the lines of the victim deserved what she got because she slept with one of the attackers husbands Hmm and Chan also claimed 'only' one woman attacked her, not all five. The other four where just there for a good show I guess Hmm

Feenie · 26/06/2011 15:53

Oh, and she would 'only' have got a broken finger and bruises Hmm

Tigerbomb · 26/06/2011 15:59

and she named her which is probably why the post was deleted

Jaquelinehyde · 26/06/2011 16:55

Aaaah I see, a lovely bunch of thick thugs ladies then.

I do hope the police charge them, however, I suspect they are used to the system and couldn't care less. Probably think a tag is the latest fashion statement.
