Frankie Boyle's Katie Price jokes censured

here. Couldn't find a thread on this yet. Was going to post earlier after seeing it on the Wright Stuff but got distracted with what a nasty creature Mathew Wright is.

Can't stand Frankie Boyle and think those 'jokes' were beyond contempt. I kind of understand where Channel 4 are coming from but really think they should apologise.

I agree totally with Alphamum and her husband. There is something disturbed about Frankie Boyle if he speculates about and dwells on the thought of a child (disabled or otherwise) raping it's own mother. And he must have thought about it more than just the once to have come up with that whole part of the routine. He's thinking about a child in a sexual manner. And that makes him sick and in need of help in my book. He is not fit to be out in public alone.

She's put herself and her family in the limelight she should expect criticism, goes with the territory these days, just as she got when she was expecting Harvey and using sunbeds/drinking champagne according to news reports at the time!

I'm no KP fan but come on, isn't she entitled to feel protective over her child like any other mother? Where is the evidence that she doesn't love her children? Personally I've always thought that she coped well with the news that Harvey was disabled, I don't remember any 'woe is me' hysterics, she's just got on with it (mind you, I haven't really watched her programmes, just seen stuff in the paper here and there so I could be wrong).

Anyway, I know her life tends to be one long publicity stunt, but in this case I think she's well within her rights to make a big fuss.

Beaaware: but as has been pointed out already on this thread, it's not about KP. It's about her son.

Also, re your unsubtle implication that KP's drinking and sunbeds might be responsible for Harvey's condition ... Nice attitude. Which medical school did you attend, btw?

Poking fun at disabled children for whatever reason is not on. It sends out a message that this is an ok and funny thing to do. If FB is such a talented comedian then surely he could have come up with some better content than this.

Personally I'm not a fan of the guy, I think he goes a bit too far. I used to like Jimmy Carr too until he went too far and made a poor crack about a paedo.
