Just been reading through all the posts on this thread this morning as I've just bought the new book published "Let This Be Our Secret" by Deric Henderson. Would definitely recommend it as it has been very insightful into the whole affair and the aftermath and also how CH's confession came about in 2009.
I've had a very deep interest in this case since around the time this thread was created as I was shocked to see that HS's son was in my year at school and I never even knew! He was always a bit of an outsider at school and was considered a bit snobby and up himself, although we did wonder why he came to school in Ballymoney rather than Coleraine (suppose there was a lot of rumours and speculation still circulating around his mother and CH's affair and the death of his dad only 4 years previously).
Considering all this, I am writing this post to I suppose apologise for being one of the small minded people that teased or didn't like him because of his attitude at school, it is now easy to see why he may have been like that, but even so does not excuse rudeness or a superiority complex in any way. I do feel for both Andrew and his sister Lisa and hope they are learning to cope with these terrible circumstances in the best way possible, although I don't believe they should be in denial about the role their mother played in the whole scenario. I know they have grown up with her and she raised them after their father 'died' but he only died because she had a part in his death and they should try to come to terms with that fact imho.
