bonkers. does this woman realise that she is perpetuating the very expectations (ie that you should be thin 45 seconds after giving birth) by doing this. instead of being a bit, well, ample for a few months.

What's the big deal? I was back at my pre-pregnancy weight w/i two months. It didn't cost a thing, either! We had no car and I had to push DD in a buggy everywhere. We also had a limited food budget and were mostly vegetarians.

Julie , Anna's mum, is on right hand side in white t-shirt and greeny skirt.

She never blags about her daughter and I didn't know the connection when my dd was going to that school. Julie's dep. head. there and she's a lovely person. So sush you lot!

Funny you should mention Germaine Greer Spacedonkey.

I like Germaine but she did say that she didn't have children because she knew she wouldn't be able to have a "life of the mind" if she became a mother
