What do you think of Gordon Brown?

Do you like him? Do you think he'll be prime minister one day? If so, will he be effective?

I'm inclined to like him, but that is based almost exclusively on my sympathetic feelings for him/his wife when they lost their young child a few years ago....which I fully accept is not a good reason to place faith in a politician.

No, Simon doesn't do it for me, he's pigeon toed.

Caligula · 27/09/2005 19:37

pigeon-toed?

Eh? Toes? Pigeons? What am I missing? (apart from a attractive-man radar?)

I think Gordon is pleasant to look at, but his hair always looks dirty. Also (shallow, I know), he always seems to wear white shirts which wash out his complexion. Think he would look much more appealing in a blue shirt, for instance.

Policies, what policies? Do those matter??

Haven't read all of this agree about the blue shirts though. What I don't get, is how Gord and Tony can just decide that Gord will take over, isn't it up to the Party or someone?????? I bet a pound to a pinch of shit that someone else will get the job!

RTKangaMummy · 27/09/2005 20:30

Has anybody noticed how his mouth opens and stays open inbetween words

I can't watch him on TV cos I see him doing this every time

Caligula · 27/09/2005 20:33

Yes I have. Funnily enough, I go off him every time he does that!

GordonBrownsNumberOneFan · 27/09/2005 20:34

Yes, that's an annoying habit of his, but I forgive him.

Yes Gordie and Tony should wear blue shirts as they are really Tories after all

Caligula, Simon Cowell

You need to get out more girl, someone organise a girls night out for Caligula before its too late

Caligula · 28/09/2005 10:58

LOL I do, don't I??!!

FGS someone, take me to a bar! (But please, not one in Chatham! )

harpsichordcarrier · 28/09/2005 11:00

I am not even mentioning the Terry Wogan habit, Caligula...

GhoulsToo · 03/10/2005 12:40

eeew - I don't like him and wonder why everyone think he'd make a good leader when you consider these days charisma is an essential requirement for PM - the way he sucks in his bottom lip and his little toady eyes - ugh.

He just doesn't come across as genuine at all. How about Ian McCartney instead? - PMSL!!!!
