It is like a boggle post- you shake the computer key board and out pops bonkers words that sort of look like a normal post.

Shake shake shake---- My husband was a truant he loves a christmas glitter potato print.

RustyBear · 09/12/2010 15:42

"hello, we have more people here who truanted from school and consequently cannot read.

Presumably you were truanting from school the day they explained the difference between 'effect' and 'affect'...

GabbyLoggon · 09/12/2010 16:02

you can write rusty Bravo

This sort of gobbledygook is the sort of stuff I've seen automated chatbots spout when they're pointed towards a chat forum.

They read what's there and then "try" and make conversations out of it.

So GabbyLoggon is some Computing Student's attempt at writing such a program. That said I'd expect any student to be able to implement a few of the basic rules of grammar.

GrimmaTheNome · 09/12/2010 16:11

You could be right, Badgers. Explains a lot. Is there a way to test this hypothesis?

GabbyLoggon · 09/12/2010 16:19

well, some of you are showing you can write. (But can you cope with Cancer as a subject
Its not so taboo, these days.

Now then the ronney card...shows the Roon trying to get his wife into primark...

she says "you must be plucking joking, wayne."

PS you may some some of this written up in a newspaper within 10 days I call it "Carryon on Mumsnet" (15 cert)

And please stop beomg so NEGATiVE. Gabby Lux Logan only likes postitive. people. A typical rich modern woman (Have you met her?)

Hmm

Gabby strikes again!

I love the way they go on about MNers being illiterate/uneducated/dim but then making mahoosive spelling, grammar and punctuation errors all over the place.

GrimmaTheNome · 09/12/2010 16:31

Do you have a thread about cancer? If so by all means link to it. There are plenty of threads on the subject in MN (unfortunately) but somewhere more apt than 'in the news'.

Jaquelinehyde · 09/12/2010 16:35

Oh Gabby how I love reading your shite.

BadgersPaws · 09/12/2010 16:43

"Is there a way to test this hypothesis?"

Well the recycling of words and phrases from earlier up in the thread and not actually responding in detail to what anyone is saying is typical of a type of Artificial Intelligence program called Eliza.

But Eliza type programs are usually pretty good with grammar and punctuation so I'm not so sure :)

AbsofLatkes · 09/12/2010 16:48

Maybe Gabby's actually the dailmailamatic on MN.

toddlerama · 09/12/2010 19:12

If Gabby is a robot, I am afraid. A christmas card making drivelly robot.
