Ok, so it's from the 'Sun'

This rather silly woman thought Raoul Moat was a 'legend, I never knew him but I loved him' and travelled 300 miles, teenage sons in tow, on a coach trip to the funeral

Surely she is missing a few of these?

Hassled · 03/08/2010 12:54

People are nutters.

MoonUnitAlpha · 03/08/2010 12:57

Saw her on the news - she had a "White Power" tattoo on her arm.

So a racist nutter. Poor kids.

TigerFeet · 03/08/2010 12:57

"Fair enough, people died. But they must have deserved it"

words

PersonalClown · 03/08/2010 13:00

Few sarnies short of a picnic methinks.

StormyWeather · 03/08/2010 13:56

I'm assuming she thinks the policeman who lost his sight deserved that too.

What a disgusting woman.

southeastastra · 03/08/2010 13:58

i read her comments yesterday, she said 'i know he killed some people but they probably desverved it' :S

BollockBrain · 03/08/2010 14:05

She wants attention - stupid woman

hippipotamiHasLost92lbs · 03/08/2010 14:09

She is disgusting! Yuck yuck, what a vile woman!
If he had shot one or more of her eight (yes, am judging!) kids, would they have deserved it too???

Sad, deluded woman.

msrisotto · 03/08/2010 14:10

Some 18 year old that also went:
"Kenneth said: "I'd have done the same thing if I was in jail and my lass cheated on me."
there are some fucking scary people out there.

hippipotamiHasLost92lbs · 03/08/2010 14:13

I am sorry, perhaps I should not judge her as a person. But I am horrified, and saddened, that anyone can think any of those victims 'must have done something to deserve it'.

No one deserves to be shot.

BollockBrain · 03/08/2010 14:15

Does she honestly think he would not have shot her, had she been walking along minding her own business that day?

Thick as shit

hippipotamiHasLost92lbs · 03/08/2010 14:17

Of course he would have shot her! He was shooting indescriminately.
That is what is so sad about her views.

Or a crime against society! Think what they might do with the shiteous morals she's instilling in them!

DuelingFanjo · 03/08/2010 14:22

oh - I read this earlier on the BBC - what a stupid woman.

kelticwitch · 03/08/2010 19:36

All the boys' names begin with J. That's clever.

DrNortherner · 03/08/2010 19:39

She is what some would call a bottom feeder.

It's not often I call women a twat but she is a twat.

MathsMadMummy · 04/08/2010 09:26

I saw her on the news. part of it is possibly just wanting the 5 minutes of fame. but seriously, ugggggh. HOW can anybody think like that?! (BTW her boys sitting on the bench behind her looked half amused, half embarrassed)

BUT.

did anyone see, shortly after Moat dies, an episode of Question Time with George Galloway on the panel? there was of course uproar about the tribute page on FB and all that sort of thing. But GG made a very good point. I was to be agreeing with him.

he said it speaks volumes of our society (as opposed to the individuals) that there is such an 'underclass' in the UK where people feel so resentful of authority that they latch on to any anarchist and hail him a hero. people feel so disenchanted with the country they're living in that they enjoy hating it and fall head over heels for anyone who 'sticks it to the man'

sorry I've not transcribed that very well (QT was a few weeks ago now) and of course at an individual level people should know that killing is horrible (!) but still his words were very poignant IMO.

Gigantaur · 04/08/2010 09:31

i really hope that you have transcribed that wrong MMM because if not i think i will have to agree with Galloway and that simply cannot ever be allowed to happen.

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 04/08/2010 09:33

Lol @ 'bottom feeder'

MathsMadMummy · 04/08/2010 09:57

lol gigantaur that's why I was - as was DH!

bronze · 04/08/2010 10:16

I don't like the term bottom feeder but only becaus eI think of my big black sucky fish (that was his name) and he was a bottom feeder yet he did a fantastic job as he kept the tank clean

agree she is a twat of the highest order

aquavit · 04/08/2010 10:28

MMM and gigantaur, I don't think you have to agree with Galloway here. It's a pretty obvious point often rehearsed by people in opposition mode, and actually doesn't really work here: there isn't a 'class' of people who hail Moat as a hero, just a very few, very silly, attention-seeking individuals.

I think that there are enough individual pathologies (or whatever) which produce resentment of authority to make this VERY small sample useless as a way of commenting on our society as a whole.

MathsMadMummy · 04/08/2010 10:44

fair point about it being rehearsed.

but, I do think what he said was true in general (i.e. not specific to the Moat tributes)
