I have laminate wood flooring downstairs and lino in the kitchen, bathrooms and toilets. How often do you clean these types of flooring and what with?

My god I can't believe there are so many dirty people on this site especially as it's supposed to be a parents forum. I have flagstone and solid oak floors, no carpets because they harbour germs. I mop all my floors every day and steam clean 3 times a week...hate to think of the state of some of your floors that only get cleaned when your feet stick to them..makes me feel sick YUK.

Once a week normally, but I have been doing the front hall more often in winter as even with doormats, leaves and things seem to get trekked in

I usually go over my floors with the mop once a week, I like the Method floor cleaner as you can just squirt and mop, no need to dilute and lug a heavy mop bucket about! I mop the area directly around my front/back door most days at the moment though, now the weather has changed and more dirt seems to get trodden in! Oh to have a porch!
