Our place is a total mess with DH's DIY & both being on school hols. So while DS goes to Playball & DH goes to the gym I will get some stuff done that doesn't include real house cleaning as it would be pointless. Mainly paperwork and getting stuff ready for school & work. See ya Tuesday.

This as well Mission Bathroom & laundry would suit me to a tee this week

Right I have:-

• Mopped and hoovered the lounge, kitchen and hallway as well as the stairs. I have put ant spray down on all these areas.
• Cleaned out the under stairs floor to ceiling cupboard and was ruthless in the throwing away.
• 3 x washing and drying
• E-mailed ballet to confirm time on Thursday (original e-mail advised on possible change in time)
• Culled some of DD's toys whilst she is asleep.
• Sorted out e-mail in box

I don't know why I get more done when DHis away - I always get the cleaning bug when I am in on my own overnight.

Tomorrow I have got to go to library to explain that I have returned the book that they have subsequently lost. Go to Nottinghamshire to collect DVDs forgot (i'm obsessed with Gray's anatomy at the moment), Go to visit GP who has got DD an easter egg but hasn't seen her yet, go shopping and sort through ironing pile that I have created today. Hopefully I will get back on line tomorrow as well. (I'm on a mission to use the holidays to get myself sorted as next term is going to be manic)

morning all, was going to comment that nutty and makingcahnges were up and busy early, but see those are from last night

i have been up since 5 as i gave up trying to get back to sleep too much buzzing round my head, so have st and chatted to my sisters on facebook and got on with some uniwork.

going to make breakfast and get us all dressed ready for us to go and see the house which will hopefully be ours! am trying not to be excited but ave waited so long for this

Plans have changed a little for this morning, was in the middle of cleaning the kitchen when DH and DS1 had a huge row (one of many) and DH has gone, I don't know where and I don't know if he is coming back. SO once we are dressed we are going to go to his work - it has REALLY frightened ds1 and hopefully it will make him appreciate that when Daddy says stop, he means STOP!
DH has some real learning to do as well but he is right he is the Daddy and shouldn't be treated with uch disrespect by his 6 year old son.

Anyway after that is done hopefully we can go and do nice things like shopping for DS1's birthday part things.

thanks for all the good luck- WE GOT IT!!! so happy its lovely house. Now have to be moved in by the weekend!

So excited and so much to do. All plans for this week are cancelled- but its for a great cause

Greyskull Hope that you find DH and that DS understands why it happened. My parcel is a sportsbra for the gym, my old white one got washed with the dark washing and is now grey, slightly embarrassing in my gym full of snobby people. I'm buying a black one so that can't happen again.

Well I finally got to sleep at 3.30 this morning. I can never sleep when I am on my own and DD was up at 7am - But she told me to go back to sleep so she came in my bed to watch telly. We are just having a late brekkie then we are off to get on with the jobs. Back later

greyskull We have moments like that. We have decided that cheekyness is an issue. Ds keeps correcting our speech mainly because he is a posh Surrey boy and his parents are common Londoners that say war'er instead of 'water' etc...So even when he is right he has to stop being cheeky.

Have done some limited sorting today...am attempting to re-organise DC clothes, and sort out all summer clothes from the loft....tis a mammouth task LOL

Other than that only done basics today..
Have been out for the afternoon...long walk, playground, woods and dyke. Lots of fun had by all DC and doggy

Going to be a quick dinner me thinks
...off to root round in freezer....

Oh and have made a hair app for tomorrow.... long overdue....am going to do something drastic hehehe

There are 6 days left of the holidays (don't go back until Tuesday) and I'm not sure I can last without blowing a fuse - DD is being such a madam today Arrrggggghhhhhhhhh

Today I have

• Driven to Nottinghamshire to pick up DVDs - Packed a mini picnic to have as well
• Shopping
• More hoovering - thats the whole of the downstairs done now
• Been to pick up parcel
• Been to library - apparently DDs book isn't overdue now grrrr
• Done some recycling
• Sorted out magazine pile then pought more to add to it.

DD's tea in oven and then we are off to weightwatchers. DD never lets me stay when she has to come with me so that may save me too much embarrassment of having to explain to the group why I've gone back to beached whale proportions after a couple of weeks away then friends are coming round for chinese (I know that won't help but it'll be yummy)

seeing as you asked Nutty I'd be delighted to oblige and tell you all about my lovely new house it is 3 bed- OMG dd will not be sleeping in my room anymore and a bit scary she has never slept in a diff room before.
It has a toilet downstairs and bathroom upstaits dc are very impressed with having 2 toilets LOL
downstairs is a living room and a very large kitchen which will also fit a table and chairs in no PRob, which is good as no dining room.

We have a garden which has grass and is flat (never had al 3 before) and very large shed so can store all my crap outdoorsy things in there rather than the house.

It is absolutely huger than the flat can't wait to have so much space.

am trying to stick to doing things for the house before the children go to bed and doing uni work after they have gone to bed until either the house is sorted or the uniwork is finished whatever happens first . so I am on here and facebook again must sort it out LOL

Well yesterday was fine in the end we drove and found dh at work and he had a chat with DS1 and they seem to have made up with each other.

Morning all

I have deposited DD with GPs today so I should be able to keep my sanity for at least a day longer

Chinese was cancelled last night due to a change in opening hours - ended up with Pizza, nice but had been salivating at the thought of the chinese. Oh well. Good night though, nice catch up with BF. We are really struggling to get together recently (struggling to be in the house at the same time as DH mostly so no chance of socialising in couples as well). Weigh in went good as well lost 2lb - think the lady thought I was crackers when I asked her to check again, I was so convinced my week of reckless abandon would have gone straight to my hips

Todays list

• I have an appointment at the gym at 12 to work on my hip and knee problems - Gonna really struggle though as my hips are really playing up today.
• Shop for hair accessories to allow me to get DD's hair in a bun for first ballet class tomorrow. Need smaller grips and a scrunchie type thingy. I used to have my hair in a bun all the time but had a drastic haircut about a year ago and threw all accessories away
• Put away clean clothes pile - still not got around to it from earlier in week
• Do some sign language practise.... lesson in the pub tonight with the girls from class (loving these half-term lessons)
• More washing
• Paperwork mountain

Argghhh the above was posted this morning but was stuck when my PC froze until I've just logged back on again - I'm not going mad really.

Evening all major mistake. Ds looked really tired & didn't want tea, when I got home from work. So I let him get into my bed fully clothed & sleep. I said I would put him in his own bed if he was asleep 1/2 hours later. Of course he wet the bed!!
My own silly fault I should have got him washed and into his PJ's & his own bed!! I'm too soft. Only a the bottom sheet wet a little so just changed the bed.
I have brought lovely Lanchshire hot pot from work's canteen for DH. I had it lunchtime, homemade and lovely. This might be my major cheat from now on...

Sorry DH came in and I hate it when he loooks over my shoulder. Hope you have all enjoyed time with the kids but I'm sure looking forward to normal service next week.

Have done some baking, dw unloading and reloading, wm unloading and reloading and kitchen floor sweeping. Have had horrendous sore throat and sinuses for about 2 and a half weeks and am feeling like crap.

happy upcoming birthdays to all your dc, dd's is on thurs next week. My sisters are coming to stay for her birthday as well they will be down thurs-sun. was arranged before we found out we were moving and don't want to disappoint dd by cancelling as she wants my neices to come to the party. so dsis's have been told they have to take us as they find us

Nutty sounds like a good plan re hotpot! we move saturday. Met some of the neighbours today they seem nice enough. dc are fascinated by their dog and keep running up the garden as it makes dog run up all excited with them

-ordered carpet-being delivered Fri afternoon
-umpteen loads of kitchen stuff and things out airing cupboard to house and put it all away there

• packed most of the kitchen ready to take over tomorrow

should be doing uni work but dd was awake from 2.45am-5.45am excited about her new bedroom so we ended up chatting about it and why it can't be decorated pink yet but how i will get her pink curtains/rug etc etc. then we played shadow puppets with her torch singin worm at bottom of garden and making the worm shadow etc etc until she got tired and went to sleep. so think i may just mooch through emails etc then go to bed with a book
