How many light bulbs does your house need?

DH and I have just added up how many light bulbs the various applainces need in our house and I am staggered!
Off the top of my head I would have said about 12. But actually it's more that 4 times that! Most of them in the kitchen what with all the congealed concealed lighting etc.
I hasten to add they are not all on at once...

I know, was very shocked myself when I counted them all ^^

i should think about 60 because dh is LED mad and they are dimdimdim so we need squillions.

We've got 32 . And we only live in a terrace!

Not counting things like bulbs in appliances we need about 30

fishie this is our problem - all these LED little things are sooo dim! That's why we have loads in the kitchen.

I hasten to add they are all low energy and not all on at once.

However in the studio we have 280-odd (and most of them are forty feet up and I have to put up scaffolding to change the buggers)

8-10. oh but if i include lamps, then 14 or so, but i usually have them on instead of other lights.

katisha i love our cooker hood, it provides the only decent source of light.

i stood in ikea lighting dept yesterday and stamped my feet, demanding to have something which would floodlight my dinner. got some weirdy answer and another bloody led.

OK comes clean - we have 56.

i have just counted 33 on ground floor. and that is with only one in the hall, you'd break your neck without a torch...
