Not sure what the plan is here, but
DONE
Sterilised bottles
Washed up from last night
Wiped kitchen counters
Washed and dressed ds2
Me and ds1 had breakfast
Folded dry washing
Put load in washing machine
Hit kitchen hotspot
Hung wet washing

TO DO
Wash and dress ds2
Wash and dress self
Clean bathroom
Mop bathroom and hall floor
Todays 5 min room rescue will be living room
Empty and soak nappy wrapper
Take rubbish out
Get down to children's centre and help them unpack the room for group tomorrow
Get to tescos
Spend some one on one time and individual time with ds's

Think that'll do for today.
Dp's going out this afternoon and won't be back til tomorrow, so not sure what to do later. A friend invited me and ds's round to his house for a bbq, but don't know if I can be bothered with all that!

I have had a lovely breakfast in the garden and am chilling now before heading out for a bit of window shopping and my facial....hard life isnt it!!!

Gorgeous weather again here...hope you all have sun and can enjoy

mad meant to say from other day well done at consultants...glad he was able to help ,even if a bit stressful.You have been through so much I dont think you should be hard on yourself about needing extra meds etc...They will help you get back on track and that has to be a god thing.

Oh and swan from ages ago ...yes I did take the photos myself! Photography is one of my many sadly neglected hobbies that I must make more time for.....

right off for my absolutely no FLY day in the sun!!!

Hi everyone? I'm guesting again. Hope everyone has a lovely time in the sun.
I've got a strange weekend DH & DS have go to the Lyme Regis with friends on a Dads & Kids weekend.
So I have the house to myself. So I can really fly this weekend. I know it's already 10 am but hey it's Saturday. Had a lovely Bat & Ball picnic last Monday. So if any one whats tips just ask.

So here goes otherwise I will waste this lovely time.
hang out washing
Fill machine
Strip Ds's bed
Recycle
Find large flask and big plastic plate.
Back into the garden.
Still have plants to put in pots
sow herb seeds
trim grass edge
prune roses
weeding back and near herbs
cut tree out front
put fresh compost on bay tree and rose
measure area for trellis
No cooking or food shopping in this house until the boys get back.

Hello hello hello! It's the weekend yay!

Glorious, glorious weather here so going to mad dash through the house then sit out in the sun for the rest of the day and burn to a crisp

Party was good fun last night (and had no alcohol which am very pleased about). I should be wearing browns, greens, reds, aquas, dusky pinks. Which are the colours I usually wear anyway!

Had to say goodbye to a good friend who is moving down to England. Met her at the motorway services at half eleven last night as she was driving down to England with all the kids. Was so awful. All her kids and my kids were hysterical with crying. Me and friend were too. Really, really upsetting We will probably see more of them now that they have moved tbh as they are coming back to visit in July and we are going down there to stay for a week in June. Still, is awful knowing we can't just jump in the car to Crieff and see them any more

Anyway, planning to have a busy day and be outside for the most part. Will catch up later x

DS has been a bit bullied by next doors brood, they tend to blame all the bad things on him and I have to be diplomatic

Washing pegged out. garden swept and I better scarper. Friends are round tonight so it's hotspot tackling for most of the day. See you later

star of your day to yourself. Don't do the housework, get a bottle of martini, a bottle of lemonade, a fesh lemon, lots of ice, a big cocktail jug and a straw, then get a good book and chill in the garden. Heaven
gib Glad you had a good night, but sorry about your friend moving. I appreciate the friends I moved away from alot more now, so for me it was a positive step.

Dp has just gone to my dad's for the night fo footie fest. Ds1 is having a nap, ds2 is trying to roll over but not quite there yet. I have done 1 hours worth of ironing and been to tescos. I think I need to hoover the livingroom, bit crummy!

Happy weekend everyone, well somehow I'm managing well with this FLy stuff but awfully with this thread! I seem to have done an about turn. Happy for my house and family but feeling a bit useless here. haven't managed to catch up with all the ins and outs. Hope you are all okay!

Has a quick scan and managed to pick up a couple of bits:

Gib - boohoo for friend, I hate goodbyes.
But I'd love to do the colour consultant, shame she didn't give you a new colour so you'd have an excuse to go clothes shopping!!

wendy - my dd is potty training at the moment and still has endless accidents - most frustratingly when she falls asleep in the car and wets the seat!! Grrrr - yuk! Still, it can't go on forever!

Comfort eating? I know well - although at the moment I am comfort smoking yes I know it's horrid and ridiculous. Gotta stop.

Still, house is calm here. Dp has taken children to shops for my birthday pressies (Monday) and I have done my morning routine and will tackle a bit of paperwork next. Going to enjoy a soak and a read in the bath -and maybe a cheeky afternoon nap - aaaahh!!!

Oh dear... dd4 has pushed dd1 in the paddling pool WITH her mobile... mobile no longer working. dd1 Not Happy. Oops.

Twas funny though

Been to B&Q and bought loads of shrubs and bark chips for the front garden. Got someone coming next week to pull out some conifers and we are removing all the rose bushes then replanting (non jaggy!)shrubs.

Off to drop dd1 to friend's in Falkirk then back for BBQ and sitting in the sun whilst dangling feet in paddling pool. Bliss.

Hello to all.

I've been out most of the day! My hair has been cut and coloured so I no longer resemble Father Ted's housekeeper!

Dh, ds and dd are coming back in about an hour and I have the shopping to put away and need to do a tidy up. Please excuse this short post.

This is what ds was doing this morning in his ten piece group:- ds in another comp

Three of them are the youngest they are allowed to be (15) so they did well. Ds is on the far right with the silver coloured instrument. They came 3rd out of 12 or more I think.

I can't believe how long it's taken to get rid of ivy from my hedge. Dh isn't going to notice the difference as it all looks green to him but the ivy will kill the hedge!

Poor ds is stilly poorly, has been asleep most of this pm . Been to library with dd and played in paddling pool .

Dh has laid the kitchen lino!! Even he keeps saying 'it only took a morning to do a job I've been putting off for a year!' lol Looks great though .

taken dd to a softplay party (slight waste of a beautiful day but she had great time in outdoor area)

scatty I know I am having a proud mummy minute. I love them both soooooooooooooooooo much. Ds2 told me I was a lovley mummy tonight as I put him to bed and that I gave the worlds best kisses and cuddles

They are just perfect in every way. Me and DH have been saying how different the two of them are. DS2 is very creative, imaginative and his vocab is beyond anything I have ever heard out of a two year old. Where as DS1 is so analyical and number orientated it beggars believe - he can count to way over a thousand now and his addition adn subtraction is way better than mine He knows all his letter sounds and can so jigsaws with over 100 peices. Not bad for a 4.3 year old

I am shattered, even though I was in bed by 10 and my wonderful DH got up with the boys during the night.

Drop chair and bike at MIL {DH)
charge camera battrey
Neices birthday party at 1
collect mum

Mad, I feel I should have got more done with the boys being away. I've slept very well which is odd for me, must have been relaxing working in the garden. Good for the soul I believe.
Have a lovely time at your niece's birthday, it's going to be another lovely day.

Make beds
fill the washing machine
clean fridge
Shop for food
make Spag Bol
Tidy house (just straighten)
Go back in the garden until the boys get back
Get Hop vine off holly bush, just saw it this morning how did I miss that!
Put fresh compost in various pots

Buy feed & weed for lawn.
That should do it!

have been at my sisters for the past week so no flying
am now home and stood last night and ironed for 2 and a bit hours

am off to do my race for life this morning am feeling nervous and a little worried about how hot and sunny it is here already!
