TBH If i could go back a year to when i thought about getting our greyhound, i would tell myself to wait a few years! He is lovely but things like holidays are no longer easy to book last minute because i need to book dog care well in advance.

yeah, i can see what you mean - and i expect dog care is pretty pricey!

About £17 a night plus £30 pick up/drop off fee with the company we have used. It is a home from home company that have host families for the dog to live with while you are away.
I hated the thought of putting him back in kennals while we went away so this was a better option.

Sounds expensive, but then again i've never had a dog so i have nothing to compare against! Atleast he gets to have a host family while you're away

Galen my pizzas were horrible, that is all I really have to add to this thread...yours sounded delicious and fun! And had to skip bookclub due to various things I won't bore on about.
