Monday Fly - Starting with babysteps again

TheMadHouse · 20/04/2009 07:52

Morning all

Hope that this morning isnt too bad for everyone being the first back at preschool and school.

Right I am babystepping again, but going to do two a day, feel free to stop me or join in if you like (I will just tyoe to myself)

shine your sink The great foundation for fly - if we have shiny sinks then anything and everything is possible.

get dressed and be off with you lace up shoes. I and many others dont get the shoe habbit, at least not until we leave the house. But by getting dressed Fly means doing amy make-up you wear and also your hair.

I am going to try and follow this principal during school weeks and not come down unless I am dressed and sone.

Right - I have been taking profs advise and doing 15 mins on and 15 mins off - plus I have surestart coming at 1.30.

So far I have:

Done lunch - crackers and bits in the sun
Washed pots and put away
Play in the sandpitchanged DS2's bed
Put wash on
Wiped kitchen cabinets - high ones
Cleaned inside of kitchen windows

I have decided to tackle the kitchen as it needs it, will then see how I feel

I am not superwoman

afternoon all mad I think I will join you in the babysteppage in an effort to get myself back on the wagon.

I am beginning to feel i may have bitten off more than I can chew with the charity work on top of the job but we will see.

New desk and office ok, people seem nice, bit overwhelmed at the moment to be honest.

done

made bed
dw on
quick living room and kitchen tidy
ds to granny's

Hope the cake works out Prof.
That reminds me, i need eggs to make cakes for lunch boxes!
Might make some flapjacks too!

Front room is looking much better. I now have a pile by the door which needs to go back in kids rooms. Should i leave it for them to do after school??

WM has now finished so i need to check if last load is dry before hanging it out.

swanriver · 20/04/2009 13:43

Been waiting 40 mins for bus home
Also no lego to be had in this district, someone has taken it all except for vehicular type which he hates . Someone has taken the BIONICLES and those knight thingies.
bought some lovely OXFAM books for him a watch and a nice cheesecake, so that will be fine and dh is bringing the Inkheart DVD later.
also bought provisions for this week bar the veg

Now to trudge to work very overheated.

Tortoise · 20/04/2009 13:50

No lego?
Can you tell him there is something extra on the way and order from the lego website?

3rd load of washing out and another load in the machine. Probably won't put that out until tomorrow now.

swanriver · 20/04/2009 13:53

The lego was just an idea, Tort, as he asked for a watch, but I knew he had enjoyed some bionicles from ds2's party, and HIS party won't be till May, but yes I will try and order some from a nice company called Toys Direct, which I've used in past.
bye for now.

What is strange is that they are all male, apart from Mummy Bear.
And Sweep.

TheMadHouse · 20/04/2009 17:42

Boys are being terrors, DS1 has come back from preschool saying he wants to blay kick butt and I wound them braying seven kinds of shite out of each other on my bed. It is far to high and one of them would hurt themselfs.

I have bathed and PJ'd them
Spag bol is nearly ready
DH has just come though the door - I am giving up parenting responsibility to him now.

Has anyone said Baloo?

Tortoise · 20/04/2009 19:10

Evening.
DD's are in bed. DD2 playing up about staying there for the 2nd night in a row!

I have tidied the floor so it is back to how it was before kids invaded it!

Cake is cooked. Flapjacks delayed until tomorrow. Only had £3.50 in the back to buy bread, cheese and something for tea! luckily had fish fingers in the freezer.

DD2 has started the crying noise again. Guess it could be to do with going back to school? But she likes school.

DS2 ended up going to a friends after school. Not home yet.

I need to find my eye drops. Itchy hayfever eyes have started.

galen · 20/04/2009 19:36

evening all
mad gald youre sounding better. Do take it steady though!
prof good luck with the cake
wolf glad new job is going well. I'm sure you'll soon find your feet
grouchy great news on DH job - hope it works out
swan happy Bday DS1 ! Yes the ferry is a nightmare ....just too many of us to fly though really LOL
everyone-else Hi! Sorry brain a bit frazzled - forgot the rest!

Had a lovely day mostly in the garden with DC
DS2 seems recovered from the ordeal and has eaten loads today

DS1 still quite sad, but cheered up when a big bag of jelly belly jelly beans (which he loves!) arrived for him ( I ordered them for his B'day which was while we were away, but he had a few bits and pieces I had ordered at home too!)
He's gone to scouts now which will hopefully take his mind of it a bit.

Have done many million loads of washing - thank goodness for good drying weather!
Also planted out some seedlings with DC...

Dinner done ( lamb casserole that I froze before we went away!)
Not doing much else tonight as I'm exhausted!

Tomorrow:
sweep and mop floors
some zone work - must get back into that!
review babysteps and work out what I should be doing LOL!
Bake

Right off to veg on sofa before very early night!!
see ou all tomorrow

TheMadHouse · 20/04/2009 19:42

Dont worry all I am taking things easy - my body doesnt let me over do it really.

Boys are in bed
Clothes are all out for tomorrow
washer is on - to hang out in the morning
Sink is shines
DW is filled
Cat is fed
Conservatory tidied
DH sorting outside a wee bit

Jelly beans yum

I am going to have a bath and an early night.

I will be back in the morning with tomorrows babysteps!!
