How do you all store art stuff like felt tips, scissors, glue etc?

We had a hanging thing with pockets, which went on the door next to his little table, but it was cheapo plastic and has ripped.

What do other people use? We haven't really got shelf space for this kind of thing, and even if we did, I am not sure what I would store it in. I like him being able to reach it from where he is sitting - maybe a little organiser with drawers in? We're short of space tbh. All ideas gratefully received.

Laundry tablets boxes, each covered with different kinds of old wrapping paper

Hi F&Z - we are in Guildford.

We have instruction leaflet and the key to take it apart. It can be dismantled and then reassembled. DH managed it and he is officially a rubbish DIY. Not looking to make loads of money, happy for it to go to a good home.

Does anyone know of vile plastic drawers that aren't on wheels? I have everything stored in ikea boxes inside huge cupboard right now, but drawers would make it a lot more organised I think. At the mo ds2 just pulls out all the boxes and stuff ends up all over the floor.

The draper one Franny linked to was close, but maybe too big to put in a cupboard and probably need a4 size drawers for card/paper etc?

Am impressed with the level of organisation here

Did mean to add that you can get canvas storage pockets from Amazon, Franny. I have some quite useful beige ones mounted on the back of our living room door for cheque books and so forth. They also do blue and pink, I think. Shall find link if you want.

Accessorizequeen - you can get the plastic type drawers and just don't attach the wheels.

We have some in our wardrobes which I left the wheels off.

I also have a small A4 size one (or maybe slightly smaller), after reading this have realised that I can use it for all the art crap supplies we have.

They just all look too big, those trolley-style ones from Argos. My cupboard isn't that big! I know lakeland do things like that, but usually expensive - would staples do that kind of thing but cheaper. Well, I'll just toddle off and have a look...

Random boxes, like the big ones you get some Sainsbo's. big enough for paper, and then small things like crayons in the box they came in. Stick to things like watercolurs in their own box, things in their own containers, then they can all be chuicked in the same box.

paints, clay etc, separate box, plastic bags/

Acc'queen- my little one fits under our desk, if that is any help.

Can't remember where it came from. Try Ryman or wh smith too?

Can measure mine if that helps?

But I have everything in boxes now and it doesn't work. In order to get a box out, they take out 3 or 4 and they're not clear so ds1 just rifles through them all. I even have toolbox style things and it all ends up a mess. Must be future proof for all of them (ds1 is 5, ds2 is 2, dt's are 6 months) and tidying up done in minutes a la trofast.
Have checked lakeland, staples and aplaceforeverything, nada.
