Hi flame .
I never really got the hang of proper FLY but enjoyed the company on the thread .

Flamesparrow · 23/03/2009 14:07

I was doing it the summer that DS was teeny (so 2006 ) and my life was sooooo much easier

EustaciaVye · 23/03/2009 14:10

Hi Tort, and Hi Flame. Long time no see

Just watched Neighbours so should probably get on with some housework now...

Tortoise · 23/03/2009 14:15

Hello EV. I know you were watching lol! You beat me to posting about Libby!
It is nearly time for me get dc from school. Have a couple of bits to get from the shop first. Including dog food so i need to take the old stroller cos dog food is too heavy to carry home!

Looks cold and grey out so don't really want to move.

grouchyoscar · 23/03/2009 14:29

TMH Thanks for the thread. How refreshing to hear such a positive attitude from one with such health issues, it's good to know that people like you are about. And yeah, CBT sorted my traumatic childhood out and made me feel a hell of a lot better

Whoo Tort! Howdydoody to you. How are you after the GB stuff?

Wendy How are the paitents? Hope there's not too much itching and scrating and you're surviving.

Hello again Simply great to have you back, however erratic your posts may be

dylsmum1998 · 23/03/2009 14:36

swan bloody credit crunch has got a lot to answer for if it stressing a 2 yr old out that much she having nightmares

scatty when todays foul mood passes i'm sure i'll be laughing about my weeknd to. i don't know whats matter with me at mo. i just nearly broke down in uni over absolutely nothing, got myself worked up into a state over a 2 min presentation, which i just managed and have come home now.

tort good to see you. hope all is going well for you

go as always an impressive list of dones!!

grouchyoscar · 23/03/2009 15:07

Grouchy appears to be a nit free zone!!!

Plastered myself in concitioner, combed it through with a fine toothed one and then a nit comb, nothing, rinse it out, towel dry and spray with a water and ti-tree mist. Parasite Paranoia is over! The nitty gritty bittys are NOT here

Also done

Take down dry washing and place in putting away basket
Empty WM and sort for drying
Get Ed-ucation (haha) station out

DH is doing the school run. I'll miss it when he's back in gainful employment.

grouchyoscar · 23/03/2009 15:50

Swan Re LOs and The Credit Crunch...Ed (5.8)asked me if we needed to go to 'debt free direct'to make things better. {blush] bless him. I had to say we're quite a way off that atm but he's worried too.

Hi all
Just zooming by

Did make a start on defrosting freezer but after 15 mins had scraped the worst off so I've put it all back again .. its better than it was i suppose...

I've decided to stop drinking for 3 weeks (its getting far too much of a (daily) habit so have a lovely busy evening of ironing planned... ooooo goody !

Hi all
DS poorly new spots still arriving but others crusting over or scratched off, not sure which! my mum got some of that PoxClin and it seems good, but he's not keen on having it put on - I think if he can't see the spots, he feels better . He hasn't been sick again though which is good!
He had a sleep on the sofa which was great, and DD had a nap in her cot too - I have done lots today
Cleaned the bathroom deep clean
Mopped kitchen floor very thoroughly
Mopped bathroom floor
some decluttering
made soup
two loads of washing done and folded
usual routine jobs as well
played play dough and jigsaws, just about to do sticking now
packed some books and labelled the boxes
cleaned out the bin and scrubbed the high chairs
disinfected the kitchen after sick incident

BBL

Missed Mad's update yesterday. what's wrong?

Have had nice day. Just cooking tea for DDs.

grouchyoscar · 23/03/2009 17:19

Saga How odd, It must be that time of year but I've also decided to cut down on the wine quota at the Grouchy house. I know I'm imbibing far too much and after 4 days of constant headaches then...something has to give really.

I'm only glugging on a Saturday night and a glass or two with Sunday Tea. Good luck with your break from the grog

sagacious · 23/03/2009 18:03

Well done on the Saturday nights grouch

Am just about to dish up dinner (lasagne) Normally I would have had a glass of red while cooking it and another whilst eating it.

Am resisting but I must admit its so tempting

Have pottered far too much today
Will do better tommorrow

Sorry for self indulgent posts today

[slaps self]

scattyspice · 23/03/2009 18:40

Saga - I also have nightly wine cravings. Its a struggle .

Hi Tort and flame.

Dyl - be kind to yourself. I have times like that. Pretend you have the flu and have an early night with a hot toddy .

Done:
blinds fixed
laundry
house bleugh (most of)
bags packed etc.

GO I am good thanks. No problems from GB surgery. Glad you appear to be nit free.
Dyls Hello. all good here thanks. How are you?

Going back to read TMHs boob watch update.

Tortoise · 23/03/2009 19:56

TMH Sorry to read the reconstruction didn't work. Glad you are doing ok though. Make sure you still take it easy even though DH has gone back to work.
