OK it's another day and it's the end of another week (yipee )

So to help get the house ready for the family weekend we have Kelly's mission for the day (God I so need to do this one)

and if your babystepping go and pick your day

and if you need inspiration you can always shine your sink

See you later ladies, probably at teatime

Hi ladies,

am feeling more human after a night out with a friend (even if my head is still a little fragile!)

wendy GREAT news about the move going through. to be in by easter will be brilliant!

Gibberish long time no see hope all is well - I am supposed to be painting our bedroom this afternoon, did the ceiling last weekend and now just have to get on with edging of the walls ready for rollering.

Scatty soft play isn't cheating it is sensible if it will make your day easier

Ruby sorry to hear about your car - and good that he has accepted liability, are you feeling less wobbly about it today?

grouchy thanks for thread
hi to everyone that I have missed.

and then..

Mad thinking of you and MR & Mini Mads today. Hope they get everything sorted for you finally today hugs

gibbberish · 13/03/2009 12:58

Bythepower he11o Who were you in your previous 1ife??

swanriver · 13/03/2009 12:59

Loud opera necessary.

swanriver · 13/03/2009 13:03

Or the other explanation is that he doesn't realise you are a day over 35.

Ruby I would be exactly the same. Think you're just going to ask him if he realises one of the dates he's given you is your birthday and see what he says? Don't know - I'd be furious or perhaps, just hurt so thus furious? too. Like you say, it's not that he's away for your birthday. He could just have said, here's when I'm away, sorry one of them is your birthday. Anyway perhaps he has been given the list of dates and hasn't really read them? is that a possibility?

Hi greyskull swan gibberish very impressed with painting mut be spring fever

bbl off to music class soon. dd doesn't seem too well. have calpoled and she is a little better. Only realised after I had forced her to eat her tomato soup despite whingeing. then felt her head and she had a temperature. Bad mother moment. she is ok after snuggle on sofa with cat and cbeebies.

Right really am going

Ruby - dont blow this out of proportion. It sucks but it seems worse as DH is away and you are strung out by the car prang. He has been thoughtless but normally you would brush this off.

Tell DH he is an ass and that he has some sucking up to do when he gets home.

wendyrednoseredhair · 13/03/2009 13:31

Think you are right EV but I still would be the same - very unhappy about it. Just let him know how you feel about it Rubes

Wolfcub · 13/03/2009 13:35

hello all just nipping in quickyly on my lunch break

hope mad is doing ok

ruby make sure you tell the insurance company that he said he was liable when he phoned you. They will use that to support your side of the claim. DH may be planning a surprise party and just pretending he's away so that you don't guess the arrangements. Can you google the exhibition to check the dates for yourself?

wendy glad house move is going well. Hope dd feels better soon

grouchy and news on dh's job?

I'm off to the cinema and dinner with a friend after work but will pop in for news of mad before bed.

So that just leaves bythepower

Started glossing but have to drop it to take dd2 to orthodentist. Be back in a bit!

swanriver · 13/03/2009 15:15

Wendy -(bewildered) I'm not painting.
Just shifted lots of garden rubbish.
moved some more furniture
ironed clothes and put away
dd' desk arrived.

I love Wolf's interpretation of events. It is the sort of thing that happens in Friends, or Frasier, and massively backfires.

Off to school now, feeling very muddy.

grouchyoscar · 13/03/2009 15:58

Afternoon you lot

I was awake at quart to 3 as DH was having a severe crisis of confidence about the financial situation. His boss still owes him £2K and the OD is nearly maxed out. He went to the offfice today and asked for at least 1/2 which he got so he is feeling a bit happier. Seems the people he visited on Wednesday have some work lined up sp fingers crossed he will be working for a professional outfit in the near future (I hope, I hope, I hope)

Today has been silly mad. I was the only adult capable of getting up and I

Got washed
Down with mugs
Start the porridge (with sultanas and bananas)
Empty WM
Sort for drying
Empty DW
Put away
Serve breakfast
Tidy away
Make lunch for me
Empty TD and take upstairs
Take wet laundry up 2 flights of stairs and hang to dry
Wash and dress
Take Ed to school (both of us in PJs)
Go to assembly
Go to course at children's centre
Do all washing up and putting away
Clean the hob
Do dinner lady session
Straight to FPC appointment (in PJs)
Home, have very late lunch
Ed time

TO Do

Sort through huge pile of putting away

ruby Sorry about your prang. Glad you're OK
Wendy Great news about the house
Wolf about your MIL

EustaciaVye · 13/03/2009 18:30

Your Ls are very confusing

gibbberish · 13/03/2009 18:34

I know.. it's damn annoying! dh knocked the L key off the 1aptop (about a year ago) and put it in a Safe P1ace and it has never been seen since! So I tried to stick a bit of rubber where the key shou1d be but it keeps moving about and is a1most imposs to produce an l un1ess you p1ace about 100 tonnes of pressure on it, which is way too much 1ike hard work! Especia11y if you spend so much time gabbing on it 1ike me

scattyspice · 13/03/2009 18:37

Oh look !

Ruby - if I were you I'd buy a bag, a massive one, the glossyest bag you can find! Totally justified IMOH .

Have been playing batandball in the garden (poor light stopped play, thankfully).
