Hello all
TMH's DH (or I think that's what she calls me).
She asked me to make a post to let all know that she is probably going to have further surgery in the morning. I'll know better in the morning. She's pretty cheesed off at the moment.

I would just like to thank you all for the little pressie that arrived yesterday. It made her day. She is a bit of a tea monster!!

wheeshtyergibberish · 12/03/2009 21:05

Thanks MrTMH Poor thing. Hope she isn't too worried and it all goes well. Say a big hello to her from me (gibberish).

Wolfcub · 12/03/2009 21:05

Mr Mad please give her our love and some very uncharacteristic hugs. Don't eat all the cake on your own!

I have had bad news, FIL just phoned, MILs reconstruction on Sat had gone beautifully and she was really pleased. Tuesday morning they discovered that the new breast had died as something went wrong with blood supply. She has had another 7 hour surgery and has had the breast removed (again). She is quite poorly and completely devastated, she also has 3 bad scars and is in a worse state than when she went into hospitale. They cannot perform another reconstruction in the same way as there is not enough stomach tissue left. They may be able to try using her back later but they need to sus out what went wrong first and at the mo she is not feeling up to it. I am very , FIL is devastated also.

wolf hope you mil's ok

wheeshtyergibberish · 12/03/2009 21:09

How awful and traumatic for her

swanriver · 12/03/2009 21:17

Sorry, Wolfcub, what a horrible time she must be having.

Best wishes for the next few days Mr Mad.

Galen, my family live in Midlands and my sister lives in Dublin (and visits Midlands a lot) But I'm a Londoner. My sister moved back about 8 years ago (unfortunately for me) but nice for my parents. She has a great time there after a bit of adjusting (Dublin is much smaller than London)

swanriver · 12/03/2009 21:18

Irish Midlands.

Anyway, what am I doing here I must return to the piles of tomatoey dishes and check that everyone really did go to sleep...
