Good morning - it's the deep end here.
Sorry no links.

Dcs to school
2 packed lunches (emergencystyle) concocted for school trip which I had somehow forgotten about.
Everyone's in a good mood.

How is your poor little ds1 TMH? We too had a sheet changing night, ds2 wet two beds, his and his sister's, serial bedswopping here.

To Do
lots of laundry
hall
general mud tracking
buy some fruit

For supper - more chilli and rice, salad

and very important start planning activities for ds2's party on Sunday which is already making me feel in cold sweat. It always goes well though, he is quite easy to please.

Make basic cake for freezer.
buy crisps drinks etc

Morning all
mad oh poor you. Sick Ds is all you and Mr Mad need. Hope he is better today and that MrMad can get a bit of a rest. Hope you're doing well yourself. Do take it easy. MrMad will cope - dont be tempted to get up and do stuff too soon.
wendy I know just what you mean. I really have to spell out to DH when I feel like this (" I need to be left ALONE - GO AWAY!")but he too alwas has to ask a hundred questions to do the simplest job (are these DD 3's PJ's? Where do you keep DD 4's socks? How long should I boil the egg for? Is he tired(referring to DS2!)? Do I need to change his nappy? etc....) It is pretty much always easier to it myself!I love him very much, and he does do more than his fair share, but as for thinking for himself, or multi tasking - well forget it!
swan not sure how I gave the impression my children dont do screaming tantrums but I assure you they can tantrum like the best of them! They all have their little ways though.DS1 now goes for the prolonged sulk with lots of under breath muttering and door slamming, DD1 flounces and shouts in dramatic style, DD2 just bursts into tears, DD3 - well trust me if there was an award for tantruming she'd win! Screams, shouts, lies on floor and kicks, lashes out etc...., DD4 is a true drama queen - Big sad sulky eyes, hiding in a corner etc..., sobbing ...and even DS 2 seems to have started "shouting " at me when he doesnt get his own way!
How I deal with them varies depending on how I'm feeling!

So, not feeling great today... still not sure why...
will try to plough on though!
Done so far:
Morning routine
DC to school
Home - snack DD4

Next:
sort dinner
sort fridge before shopping arrives
laundry catch up (boy I have LOADS!)

then:
sew badges on DS scout shirt
plant tomatoes!
baking
Home bless...maybe!

want to do some zone this week as didnt last week - must check what zone we're on....
Going to try and brighten my mood with lots of meaningful activity....we'll see how I go!

Wendy and Galen I think your husbands sound lovely and very respectful moreover.

Mine is getting slightly better, but has a tendency to interfere.

Wolfcub · 09/03/2009 11:04

morning all mad, swan sorry you had rough nights.

bbl, I hope that all of us have happier, brighter days today.

swanriver · 09/03/2009 11:28

Wolf, I feel guilty at even complaining, it wasn't bad at all really.
Now rounding up dcs' craftwork and trying to dispose of tactfully before next wave.

Afternoon all

Night didnt get any better, DS1 is off preschool and still in PJ's. Between him and DS2 I got no sleep and then couldnt get up this morning. DH is worried as I was grey first thing, but I assured him it was just bowels again

He is doing a fine job, but everything is going wrong atm.

I am going to have a short nap and then try and move a bit more to help these sluggish bowels. I also need a good wash and hair wash - oh for a bath (once the dressings are off and the stitches out.

I fear that the surgeon is going to have to operative again, as my muscles are not allowing the implants to stick out - infact they are currently pretty much under my armpits, whih explains why I feel like I have someone sat on my chest. At the moment t is not even an AA cup which is a big change from GG

swanriver · 09/03/2009 13:08

it may just be early days? re: operation
but you should tell surgeon your worries straightaway.

Could you go to your mum's house to sleep for the night or is that a horrible thought?

So sorry, remember how awful it is recovering from something and trying to deal with kids.

swanriver · 09/03/2009 13:24

scattyspice · 09/03/2009 13:49

Oh Mad, poor you . Swan's idea is a good one (go to your mums). But if not then stay in your bedroom out of sight if possible.

Greyskull - hope you are ok and the decorating is going well .

wendyredredrobin · 09/03/2009 14:16

Poor you Mad that's all you need ds1 being sick. Advice on here is right. DH will cope despite being tired remember he isn't ill or recuperating from major surgery -YOU are the priority here. You need your rest so you can get better. Have you got the phone no of your homestart lady? Perhaps she may be able to help out. Your mum's seems a good option if only for the daytime to sleep, whilst DH has the children (remember you have done it often enough when you've felt rough with them.) Poor you and dh. And tell the surgeon, too, if i were you.

swan thanks, yes my dh is very lovely and does far more than many dh I know!

I am feeling much better today thank you all for your support yesterday.

Been to Lidl
Been to Grandma's
sorted some stuff for hen day I'm going on
done lunch, shopping away, washing up etc

Off to a friend's after dd's nap which I'm looking forward to, haven't really seen her in ages to chat to.
