things a bit manic here DS2 has fallen over had knocked his front tooth out, DH pushed it back in again but he is not a happy bunny.
Anyone got tips on what to do to give it the best chance of setting back into the gum?

vacumed sofa and plumped and swapped cushions over
gave ds breakfast
folded dry washing
hung wet washing up
put sofa throw and cleaning cloths in wm
dw unloaded, reloaded and on
washing up done
draining board and dish rack cleaned
rubbish out
milk bottles out
milk in
kitchen surfaces, hob, small appliances, front of dw, wm and oven cleaned
sink shone
outside of bin cleaned
inside of back door cleaned

went to currys to pick up surround sound thingy
went out for lunch
went to park with ds - wanted to go to soft play but there was party again
we are now watching happy feet but ds is being a bit of a so and so

swan our original house sale was very smooth plus because we lived 100 miles away by then it was easier not to be bothered by it all!

do you think it is worth going to A & E Dentist although I hate to say it, I had to with ds1 (aged 5) when he did that. I think dentist pulled the tooth out tho because it was a milk tooth and he was a bit older than your ds2.

Checking in for news on TMH ...

Ouch greyskull! Is it his baby tooth? Possibly best to remove it tbh. A little girl in our village knocked her 2 front teeth out before Christmas and just has a gap. The dentist said the gap would be fine until her adult teeth come through (she's 4.6) I lost adult teeth as a teenager and had loads more complications. An out of hours dentist is proably the best idea. Hope ds isn't too distressed by it

I have been at work all day so far. Just home now and off to do some jobs in the garden with dh.
Dd is very tearful - I hope she's not coming down with anything...

Greyskull Poor DS Ed knocked a front tooth out on a Brio railway bridge on Boxing Day 2004. Cue blood, tears and panic from his dad. A fruitless call to NHS Direct and a visit to casualty and that was it. The Doctor said most popped back teeth do not take back and end up dying/going black. Last year the dentist took the tooth next to it out as it was showing signs of damage and could affect his adult teeth. She was right, the root was dying and the tooth was tiny. Now with the milk tooth coming out his smile looks like a jigsaw with a missing piece . Your DS will look adorable.

Grabbed a cuppa, some stollen and back to bed

DH and Ed should be home soon. Hope they appreciate my efforts

Btw, you can get calamine cream rather than calamine lotion. Much less drying. They dont recommend calamine lotion now as it is too drying.

ds is coming down with something oh joy. We are a thread full of sickly ds's and dd's.

I hope that mad is resting as comfortably as possible and that the mini-mads are ok and the Mr Mad also manages to get a good nights sleep.

At the swimming pool for lessons again. It is a lovely end to Saturday, the two boys float and splash around like transformed beings in the freeswim afterwards.
Trying to think of positive things I've done or got other people to do today.

garden work progressing little by little did an ARTISTIC POT, and potted up some dead looking fuschias from last year in an old trough.
dh like some men is obsessed by chopping wood and has been making neat piles of kindling.

Galen - what did you think of Madagascar 2? I did love it tho' bits may have been a bit unsuitable (the hippo bits) Ben Stiller is one of my favourite actors even as a lion.

Anyway now I need to make my way home to the rest of family.

I know that Mr Mad will be busy with Mini Mads & Hospital. So I sent a txt to TMH"S mobile sending all our love from Flyfriends. I am hoping that Mr. Mad will check the mobile & pass on the message.If not TMH will see when she comes home from hospital. I have TMH's home number should I call tomorrow? Or do you think that's rude?

sorry didn't manage to come back yesterday,
DS2 is only 2.5 and he just couldn't understand that sucking his favorite Muslin wasn't going to work so he wimpered himself to sleep and was then up for most of the night

We are going to get him to the Dentist on Monday. we took him to A&E yesterday mainly for advice on what to do - not really that we thought he needed emergency treatment (sorry to those who think that is wasting NHS resources) they were great and said to keep him dosed up on calpol.

I rested well yesterday and feel a hell of a lot better thanks. Seems the greenhouse can be reinstated and a few seeds sown today.

Ed was very impressed by the tooth fairy's visit and has stashed his £2 in a money box for some 'Lego Power miners' bless him

morning all,
have had a very restless night with dd she slept from 10-11 then woke up all ichy and couldn't sleep- i put lots of calamine on and didnt help she was crying she so itchy . i put some oilatum on in the end just to see if that would help, and it seemed to as she then slept 1-7. so hard to know what to do for her.

ehm well done to madampeepeepeardrop on her potty training yesterday, hope she does as well today.
