Morning All

Today we are adding an inspirational page to our control journals again too American for me

Delete any emails you get from Flylady. I couldn?t cope with the electronic clutter, so I just use the mission and the thread.

So Routines are looking something like

Morning Routine

  • Get up and get dressed doing your hair and face
  • Looking at your posted reminders in the kitchen and bathroom
  • Reading 2 minutes of reminders
  • Recognizing the negative voices and changing them
  • Put out your Hot Spots for 2 minutes
  • 5 Minute Room Rescue (pick any room in the house) set your timer and go!

Before Bed Routine

  • Keep your sink shining
  • Lay out your clothes for tomorrow
  • Put out your Hot Spot
Remember you can set the routines to suit you, but by now you should have a morning and evening routine wrote down and be following it. If you have spare time ? yes I know an oxymoron, it pays to keep decluttering. No point in cleaning clutter.

Also to start getting used to the zone, why not do todays mission

Missions are little 5 to 15 minute jobs to do in the zone of the week. This weeks zone is the bathroomn + 1 additional zone

Thinking a lot about Inspiration. Have just asked dh for his opinion. He says his inspiration is the phrase 'If I don't do it, no-one will'. This is why he unloads dishwasher every morning without fail, unless he has hangover, and he claims, gives children breakfast (although this is not true because I would give them breakfast if it was necessary)

Today has been a mixed bag. I now see pitfall of putting too many things in TO DO
Ironing and garden sweeping still not achieved. Perhaps the wind will blow all leaves away into shrubberies.

DONE
Riotious playdate achieved with 2 extra little girls in house.
Handled tantrum from DS1.
Fishfingers, and several alternatives to ffngers prepared for visitors.
Helped at Beavers, coached nativity play and played dodgeball with 20 6-7 year olds
Dealt successfully with tantrum from beaver daughter on return home without rancour.
Had nice supper with husband of asparagus quiche and cherry tomatoes, remaining in freezer from son's June First Communion.
No telly watched today by kids - hurrah.
DS2 is off school tomorrow. A relief in a way to keep him at home. We can potter around together and no wretched lunchbox. Or homework to finish.

PS. I made cake today too. Yoghurt cake. I think it was for my own satisfaction rather than anyone else's.

I'm from London.

Fallen off the fly wagon again already - washer full of laundry, sink full of pots. DS is going through a growth spurt so have spent two evenings stuck to the sofa
