Morning All

Today we are adding an inspirational page to our control journals again too American for me

Delete any emails you get from Flylady. I couldn?t cope with the electronic clutter, so I just use the mission and the thread.

So Routines are looking something like

Morning Routine

  • Get up and get dressed doing your hair and face
  • Looking at your posted reminders in the kitchen and bathroom
  • Reading 2 minutes of reminders
  • Recognizing the negative voices and changing them
  • Put out your Hot Spots for 2 minutes
  • 5 Minute Room Rescue (pick any room in the house) set your timer and go!

Before Bed Routine

  • Keep your sink shining
  • Lay out your clothes for tomorrow
  • Put out your Hot Spot
Remember you can set the routines to suit you, but by now you should have a morning and evening routine wrote down and be following it. If you have spare time ? yes I know an oxymoron, it pays to keep decluttering. No point in cleaning clutter.

Also to start getting used to the zone, why not do todays mission

Missions are little 5 to 15 minute jobs to do in the zone of the week. This weeks zone is the bathroomn + 1 additional zone

Evening ladies

Bianca we all have days like that. I am sure we need a rest, to switch off and just be.

*Greyskull - enjoy

I have been out all day, been to the £1 shop Rubes got mini muffin cases and other bits of tat. The boys are playing with a £1 pool table.

Softplay was great and the boys had fun, dropped DS1 at preschool and then had a coffee with friend.

So no flyinbg done, but also not that messy.

Boys dinner is just cooling and then they will be in PJ's and books before bed.

I will check in later

Phew I am Knackered!

Shep pie cooked, eaten and washed up.
DS reading done
DCs bathed
Lunches made

Just need to get DCs to bed, pack bags and sort laundry.

I am going to sit down and watch Cars for a bit with DCs first (and have a cuppa).

BBtomorrow.

hippipotami · 19/11/2008 19:15

Phew, am knackered too

Dinner done, dishes done, will go and get dc into bed in 15 mins, lay clothes out for tomorrow and that's it for tonight.
Will spend the evening sewing more ribbon-bows onto ds's ballgown.

Mini muffin tray sounds great - must find a poundshop near me

Forgot to ring the restaurant, but everything else on my list got done today

Am working tomorrow morning (early, dropping the dc at a friend's at 8.15 for her to walk them to school with her two) so will need an early night....

TheMadHouse · 19/11/2008 19:46

Hippi they are silicone cases adn are great, they also have cup cake ones too. Fabo

Boys are tucked up in bed and DH has said I can get some books from waterstones for my birthday - so I am browsing at the moment. I defo want the new iandian cookery one that is on BBC, as I have the first and love it. Other than that I am not sure yet.

hippipotami · 19/11/2008 19:47

I have a silicone loaf tin (except I can't really call it a tin because it is... well... silicone) and it is fab!

Silicone muffin and cupcake trays would be fantastic!

wendylanguage · 19/11/2008 20:02

I second (or third?) the silicone baking stuff - fab! They sell at Matalan and Instore/Poundstretcher very cheap too. Plus the red colour (they usually are) cheers me up!

Had another busy day - am shattered too, had hardly any sleep like you Tigger - pondering a question I don't know the answer to! I am going to come on here first thing tomorrow if I'm around to ask you all - no point doing it now when not many are around! Thanks guys I love this Flycommunity - I've only been around a couple of weeks and couldn't do without it now.

Just need to wash up now and clean the kitchen up, do some ironing and sort the washing - house is looking not bad at all. The Flying is working!

been at a friend's all afternoon - she needs to work tomorrow and has no childcare so having her two dc (4 and 1) all afternoon with my two. DS and her dd are at nursery school together so they're fine but my DD is a bit resentful of her ds (just 1) playing with her toys etc (don't know why, she's used to it with DS!) So i'll have a busy day!

Good news on your meeting Greyskull glad it went well

Bewilderbeast · 19/11/2008 20:29

grouchyoscar · 19/11/2008 20:31

I know Exactly what you mean about the FLY community Wendy. I'd be so lost without popping by every day.

Your question is keeping me in suspense

wendylanguage · 19/11/2008 20:41

babyjjbaby · 19/11/2008 20:51

Bewilderbeast · 19/11/2008 20:55

ds in bed halleilujiah now we can get on with our none-married-persons anniversary

Jas · 19/11/2008 20:58

I think everyone on this thread (except me and EHM) either live in Yorkshire or Wales??

No FLYing here, just minimal maintenance. My voice has almost completely gone, and my throat, chest and shoulders all ache

DD2 had a friend home for tea....the first time this term and they played beautifully. I must do it more often.

I'm still here Wendy[nosey]

Happy anniversary BB

grouchyoscar · 19/11/2008 20:59

BWB If you were married you'd have just gone to bed to sleep Happy anniversary

Wendy Yep, the loud hairy thing you see in Tesco Extra is quite probably me (the smaller louder one is Ed)

bella29 · 19/11/2008 21:01

Hello people

Finally checking in. Today's been mad - sick ds, sick animals, dc friend for tea, phone that didn't stop ringing... I didn't sit down until 7.30pm

But, I did shine my sink, and I did yesterday's mission (will do today's tomorrow if you follow me), and I cooked tea, made Christmas cake and muffins and helped out at school...

Off to bed now as am a walking zombie but, as Scarlett O'Hara used to say, tomorrow is another day

Night all

Bella

Bewilderbeast · 19/11/2008 21:04

grouchy wendy i thought osset was in Wakefield, is it closer than I thought?

wendylanguage · 19/11/2008 21:08

lol grouchy but i'm all lidl these days since one opened in Ossett! I just spend about half a day in that Tesco Extra - it swallows me up in like an opium haze of bargains and deals and I come out a zombie! So I'm banned from them (self imposed ban!)

lol again BWB enjoy the anniversary. My dh made me a meal this year for our 7th wedding anniversary bless he made me beetroot hummous because it was pink and romantic he said!

Mad you are worse than me, always baking! do you manage to keep fitting in your clothes?

Jas I will spill the beans tomorrow but it's not exciting I just haven't had the chance to ask! Don't get your hopes up it's a very boring question.

Baby you have been very busy today! pat on the back from me

thanks flycommunity, see you all tomorrow (haven't done anything in the bathroom this week, better catch up!)

grouchyoscar · 19/11/2008 21:09

BWB It's our side of Wakey (Rather than say, Pontefract) I think I'm in the middle
