Morning all

Our steps for today are decluttering, which works a treat

you can do anything in 15 mins this really is the core of the fly belief, 15 mins can make a difference.

So to recap we should have routines and be doing them that look something like this

Morning Routine

  • Get up and get dressed doing your hair and face
  • Looking at your posted reminders in the kitchen and bathroom
  • Reading 2 minutes of reminders
  • Recognizing the negative voices and changing them
  • Put out your Hot Spots for 2 minutes
  • 5 Minute Room Rescue (pick any room in the house) set your timer and go!

Before Bed Routine

  • Keep your sink shining
  • Lay out your clothes for tomorrow
  • Put out your Hot Spot

Genius Ruby!!
I have been trying to get DH to come to bed earlier so so he is less tired.. he said if we had sex everynight at 10.30 he would fally into a deep and lovely sleep and be refreshed in the morning.. I am yet to be convinced that this should happen every night however it does seem to work

Morning TMH - thanks for link and recap.. I totally believe in the 15 minutes thing

Hi Scatty - enjoy your day.

DS2 is very chesty again today so we are going to hang around the house finish ironing pile, DH bought the christmas cards home yesterday so I am going to print off our list and start writing them.
I have stocking fillers on the tick seed site in my basket so need to check over and press send on the order.
My sister has decided she is coming to us for christmas so I need to do some more shopping for her stocking fillers.

nuff from me - feeling brighter today so may get stuff done.

Morning

Right, so far I have taken the dc to school and put the recycling bin out for collection.

Will now do:
breakfast dishes
2 important phonecalls
put on load of laundry
put dry laundry from yesterday away
wipe over bathroom and empty bin

then have a break before doing the 15 minute decluttering

I will be back!

AnneOfAvonlea · 18/11/2008 10:10

Morning all.

DD1 still off school. Better but very tired.
DD2 therefore missed swimming.

House is a mess. But I have made a playboard out of cardboard and green sandpaper for them to play with their animals (think grass/muddy river).

Off to make cuppa then do morning routine.

bella29 · 18/11/2008 10:24

DECLUTTER: to do. SPAGHETTI AND RICE CUPBOARD. This will only take 5 mins max and I will probably find rice for tonight's supper - hurrah.

swanriver · 18/11/2008 11:43

babyjjbaby. Sewing sounds like a brilliant idea. That will be my reward tomorrow if I can keep on track. 2 hours finishing some curtains I started sewing three years ago.
You sound amazingly organized to have done so much this morning.

TheMadHouse · 18/11/2008 11:43

Hi all

We are back from Playgroup - feeling a bit more up for things

I think we should just all use the one thread - it would make my life easier. That way we can all refresh on the babysteps if we wish.

Wendy Spill - I am intreiged
Anne Board sounds great - I had one like that as a child, we used silver foil for a lake for my little ducks
greyskull Sorry DS2 is still not right

Anyway off to do lunch for the mini's and drop DS1 off at preschool and then back to crack on

Hello Everyone

Back from my course and I've caught up with the stuff I needed to get done.

I think I have to do the ironing and clean the bathroom floor before collecting Ed

BBL Hugs to all.

ludaloo · 18/11/2008 13:02

Hi everyone

For once I feel on top of things today. Housework is done, washing is now manageable, DH is also happy (must be something in the air Rubes )
I'm actually beginning to see some results with my gruelling diet and fitness regime...I'm wearing a size 12 skirt today and it is loose!
All the kids are being nice ATM and went to school today quite happily with no tantrums whatsoever!
My only annoyance today is that I can't find the hole punch and it is driving me doolally!

very hard not to wonder exactly what is around the corner waiting to cause some great disaster!

AnneOfAvonlea · 18/11/2008 13:04
ludaloo · 18/11/2008 13:05

Oooohhhh what happened there!....oh I did [[ double bracket thingy! I meant to say...I'm trying very hard not to wonder.....

ludaloo · 18/11/2008 13:11

Oh I didn't realise there was another thread Mad.....

I'm on a mission to find stocking fillers....anyone done their stocking filler shopping yet (has ruby in mind) I want cheap...non "tat" items that I'll be hiding and shoving in the bin as soon as the kids have forgotten about them (kinder eggs and happy meals are the bain of my life!)
Any ideas? Two DD's...aged 3 and 7 and a DS aged 5
