Morning all

mopping mission

I am busy bee today, music and movement, lunch, preschool, soft play and then make a curry for DH and me - I am redicovering my libedo. Mr menopause gave it back

DS was up quite a lot during the night with a temp from his injection, we knew this one wpould be bad as it was an adult dose of the pnumo he seems OKish this morning

I had a call yesterday from surestart about looking into help for the boys when I go into hospital, so I am pleased that things are moving in the right direction.

To do

Washing
Ironing
General tidy
Mission

Bianca Good luck with the fundraising
Wendy We all have bad days, hope today is better

wendylanguage · 14/11/2008 11:07

Morning Mad and Anne thanks for kind words. Are curries related to libidos? Perhaps I ought to make one tonight too lol.
How is DS today Mad after jabs?
When is your hospital surgery happening next year?

I too have been to music class with dd this morning

To do
make lunch (pasta)
Finish washing up
collect ds from nursery
washing
finish mould off bedroom wall
music class for ds
write thank yous with ds for birthday gifts
General tidy
clean kitchen floor it's horrid
hotspots
put ironed clothes away
make tea (eggy bread tonight )
plus probably more

have great days all, sure mine will be better today

wendylanguage · 14/11/2008 11:08

just realised cleaning kitchen floor is a mission yipee my first mission will be done today and I was going to do it anyway!!

TheMadHouse · 14/11/2008 11:49

Wendy I am not sure if curries are related to Libedo - its just he commented we havent had one for ages, so I got chillis and garlic and ginger in my shop and am going to make one.

DS was up during the night with his injection, I think due to the fact that it was the adult dose of the pnumo - he had a raised temp - he is just tired now. He has asked for spagetti on toast for lunch so I am obliging

Surgery is scheduled for a friday in Feb not sure which yet, as DH is taking time off etc, so it depends which is best for all concerned. Surgeon is happy to obglige as it is a full day and no one is booked in yet!!!

Hi everyone

Just thought I'd touch base as havent posted for a couple of days. I see there is a 'flybaby' thread now....I should probably be posting on that but havent been feeling well today and cant face babystepping. Think I'll just do my own thing for a while.

To Do-

Make chicken soup for tea......my one last week was a success but I just made it up as I went along so I probably wont be able to repeat it!

Make piles of clean clothes and either put away or put in ironing pile depending.

Hoover hall and lounge

Sweep kitchen floor

Empty bins

The house is a tip at the moment so that wont even scratch the surface but I've got to start somewhere right?

am off to get DS1 from school

probably won't get back on today..

hope you all enjoy date night

wendylanguage · 14/11/2008 15:52

Sounds yummy and spicy Mad go get him girl!

Mopped the kitchen floor yipee! But it was so dirty it took quite a while and changes of mop heads (have one of those swishy things) and I snapped the mop handle by mopping too vigorously oh well, it was on its last legs, anyway, it's time for a new one

Bianca well done, brilliant, you're an inspiration!

Have taken DS to music and back again, translated some French emails for my Dad (ebay) - knew French A level would come in handy some day (16 years ago )

Tort I have posted on your thread to add my two penny worth

wendylanguage · 14/11/2008 15:55

Oh, forgot! I have an important FLY question! What time do you all get up in the morning and do you really get up before the rest of the family?

I only ask as I am VERY bad at getting up (probably because I go to bed so late)and am usually LAST up at the very last minute . Why am I always ing?!!

Thanks for you advice all, have a great night

bella29 · 14/11/2008 15:56

Hello all!

TMH - that curry recipe is making me really hungry.

Did my (teeny) list and am just waiting for DH to comment on my new found zeal around the house. He's probably just waiting for the right moment...

Thanks all for your support & look forward to being back here on Monday (we do get the weekend off, right?!)

babyjjbaby · 14/11/2008 16:01

wendy i get up at 7am baby doesn't gut up till bout half 8 i useally have about a hour knitting watchin tv and maybe breakfast then i go up and tidy my room up b4 i get him up so i don't really need to get up early

TheMadHouse · 14/11/2008 16:39

Wendy I am always the last one out of bed. DH gets up and goes to work and the DS's get me up. I try to get them to watch TV in bed or something, but usually they trash the house instead

Dh and I have started to get up before the boys..
things run smoother if we are up even 5 minutes before them.

So at the moment the alarm goes off at 7 we are out of bed by 7.10 and the boys seem to get up anywhere from 7.15-7.30 it means we have both been in the bathroom and made our bed by the time we are needed elsewhere.

I am in the process of getting DH to come to bed earlier as he comes to bed between 12 and 1.30am and wonders why he is knackered. At the moment we are working on him coming up at 11.30pm and before Christmas I hope to have it at 11pm.. at least then he will be getting 8 hours sleep.
