Welcome back dame - we welcome anyone you know

I have made dough for naan breads, which is rising to go with the curry.

The boys are testing my patients - full moon yesterday and it is the witching hour.

Is it wrong to be watching the clock till bedtime

No Mad it's normal. Doesn't everyone clock watch in their last hour at work?! it's just the same for us it's just work is our children!

Thanks for advice on getting up times! i think I need to get up earlier! I usually get up about 7.45 but dh leaves at 8.15 and i have to leave the house at 8.45 for nursery. So I have myself to shower, do hair, get dressed etc, myself to breakfast, get kids dressed and do their teeth and make them put their shoes and coats etc on all in an hour which I find a real struggle. Then I am usually off straight out again to toddlers or music class and not back until 11.15, then I go straight out to nursery to pick up ds. So the kitchen is a state when I get back and the children demanding their lunches ... seems like just getting up a bit earlier may make life a bit easier!

Thanks FLYwolves for your advice: it is this board which is keeping me motivated!

Tesco order finally done. Well, unless i think of anything else! Why can't i find the tesco value choc teacakes though? The tunnocks ones aren't nice. The value ones were a substitute last time.
I have spent more than planned but stuffing was on offer plus a couple of other bits i can put away for xmas!

By heck, Hello everyone, thought I'd already posted today, sorry I'm late

Had a really busy day today. Morning routines, Ed to school, Do my course (which is doing my self esteem a hell of a lot good) home and in 45 mins

Empty WM
Sort for drying
Hang to dry
Take damper washing down
Load TD and run
Empty DW
Put away
Put whites into soak
Make lunch

Then back to school to do an afternoon supporting the off curricular activities for Key Stage 2. Collect Ed, home again, phone council re the parking ticket (seems I might have got away with it by being congenitally dim). Request a job app, speak to ILs, Put whites into a hot wash, take stuff from TD for putting away, get Ed into his training gear and take him to rugby training, handle a nintendo denial meltdown (35 mins, a biggy there Ed) and home.

I'm rather tired now

The weekend beckons and I am not doing the clean the house from top to bottom again. I'll select stuff that won't wait and spread tghe rest through the week. I have to take Ed footy training tomorrow AM then it's as it happens really.

God I do witter!

Evening

It looks as though we've raised about £320!

Completely exhausted. Off to slob on the sofa and not think about the mess which is lurking in the kitchen!

tortoise · 14/11/2008 21:28

WOW Well done Bianca.
Enjoy the sofa . Kitchen can wait! lol!
