Morning all. Back with links in a mo.

OP posts:

Some great ideas.

Sag - Love your dress but think my norks will be too big (F cup).

Ditto to Ruby's Oli dress.

Mad - I love that Blue dress from Bravissimo. I had one very similar (albeit maternity) for my brothers wedding. Not confident enough to go for sleeveless, I dont think.

This is great. I feel like I have some personal shoppers

Lavender - sorry about your Mums arm

hello again, DC in bed. Love all the dresses. I have no do's to go to this year unfortunately! Anyway my small boobs wouldn't do half of those dresses! Shame on both counts. I love Monsoon personally - perhaps I'll treat myself to something for Christmas Day this year from there.

Today I have
made dinner (veggie crumble and salad)
washed up (four times so far) and dryed up
tidied up the kitchen
cleared hotspots
tidied the toys
bathed and storied kids
taken DS to Toys r us (more successful this time)
sorted out the xmas presents
played with dc
made 20 glittery invitations with dc for dd's birthday party

just on the wine now before tackling the washing up again. have sent dh to the shop for provisions! May catch up with Little Dorrit which i have recorded tonight whilst ironing.

Loving the red dress Ruby. And I love Wallis. We have one near here so I'm going to see if I can see one in the flesh. If that one is no good then I may go for Mad's Blue Bravissimo dress.

TheMadHouse · 10/11/2008 20:42

Anne - They have some lovley sparkly shrugs and boleros in Tescos (£12ish) would go really nice over either the red or the blue.

I liked the blur cause I have massive hooters

grouchyoscar · 10/11/2008 21:04

Haven't had time to do any dress peeking, good thing as I am so very very skint atm...Mind you last week I got a lovely black Next dress that DH thinks is fantastic. He says he'll take me out for a meal in it when he next gets paid. I think he'll look a bugger in it meself

Evening All. very aware I've not said any individal hellos for a while but Hi to wendy and I hope you're liking it here on FLY

The walk must have given me a second wind as I got Ed home and I

Got Ed's clothes ready for morning
Made tea (Sausage and tomato casserole with rice)
Made lunchboxes for tomorrow
Went through Ed's spellings with him (9/10 1st time )
Tidied kitchen
hung wet laundry to dry
Put dampish washing in TD and run
Empty TD and take for putting away
Tidy Ed's room (gave up asking him after 3 days)
Listen to Ed reading his new school book
Read him a bedtime story (or two)

Hopefully I won't be camping out tonight

Night ladies, enjoy your frocks

wendylanguage · 10/11/2008 21:09

Thanks grouchy. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight (and me!)

Right have washed up and tided up but not got to the TV yet
Might just have a bath to warm me up.

What is all this with getting clothes out for tomorrow? Is it really worth it?

Jas · 10/11/2008 21:56

Aaah, babystepping
I've never done the getting clothes out the night before, but I have very few clothes, and it seems pointless to me. It doesn't take me long to decide which pair of jeans and t-shirt to wear!

Getting things out for the children definitely helps (if you have children big enough to dress themselves, but not so big to have an opinion of what they wear!)

Lots of lovely dresses. I liked the green one but it may just have been the colour, tbh.

No good for the challenged of nork(me), anyway

I got loads of cleaning, tidying and decluttering done this afternoon, and dp collected an outstanding wage cheque which should clear on mortgage paying day

I'm going to go and get a glass of wine now....
