I am not feeling all the halloweeny at the moment.

We seen to lurch from one illness to another in this house, DS1's all chesty again. I am worried that it is all the chemicals I have used to get rid of the lurgy.

Mad you certainly seem to get your fair share and more don't you
We tend to get most things going round too...it just gets soooo tiring doesn't it.
I hope you are all feeling brighter soon.

I'm just out of the bath and the kids are all just in it. We are getting ready for a party. The kids are quite hyper!!

I'd better get on and get everyone ready.

I'm popping downtown to recycle bottles and grab some shopping we forgot on Thursday night. I fancy doing some baking with DS this half term

Hi sag I LOVE your halloween name!

We are just about to go to kids party...and then we are going to a friends for an evening meal/drinks (I'm sooo looking forward to it! We hardly ever go out...I've straightened my hair and everything!!) Its her birthday tomorrow so I may have to have a bottle or two of wine to celebrate.

I'm here. Not doing anything interesting today. Just sent dp to do the shopping.....big shop has turned into get-as-much-as -you-can -with-£25=shop

My friend has invited us to her baptism tomorrow,(Fairly vocal athiest, but the dc are interested and she is a good friend) so that will keep us busy.

DD2 is going to make her a card.

I ordered the memory box for my neighbour yesterday afternoon, and it arived early this morning

Having a bits and bobs day today, we had a lay-in this morning until 9am los were playing in ds1's bedroom.
We went into town and walked through French market, didn't buy anything as it very expensive! Went to butchers then did a huge Adsa shop (2 weeks worth I hope)
Anyway ds2 is now sleeping and i'm going to do 30 mins of ironing then take ds1 to a party

My mixer has just broke as I was doing the christmas puds - argggggg

But a very nice DH has gone to buy me a new one as a very ealy christmas present. I am a bit peeved with my mum about it actually as I asked if I could borrow her Kenwood Chef and she told me she had given it to my cousin - she doesnt even see her very often.

DS1 is playing on the wii and is now on his inhauler - poor wee mite.

I am feeling OK, just tired

OH and I forgot to add - THE BLOODY HEATING HAS GONE OFF - so have had to borrow a oil filled rad and put the immersion on for the boys a bath. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hello, back again!

Went to the recycling bins to dump the jars and bottles then some quick shopping to get the stuff we forgot/wasn't available when we did the shop. Didn't get back til 4 as I just switched off and mooched about. Oh the bakery at the supermarket gave me some fresh yeast for free so I'll be showing DS some kitchen science this 1/2 term

I've been seeking/sharing cleaning tips on here so I thought I'd give you a link

Ruby car seat wise we just bought one for DS1 from Halford Maxi Cosi Rodi for £45 half price and it has really good reviews.

Evening all.
My halloween costume arrived! And it fits! It could actually do with being a little smaller.
I am still not sure i have the confidence to wear it or if it looks ok. I doubt any other adults will be dressed up.

Haven't done much today but trying to catch up on washing so that i can start the packing. DS2 has packed his case. Need to make sure he has all he needs though.

Very tired today so will try and get to bed earlier tonight.

Yum - I have my christmas puddings all steaming away. Have made 5 to give away, 1 for us and then a tasting one for tomorrow

I also have made bread rolls.

Christmas cake will be done tomorrow and then I need to start soaking the fruit for the next cake.

We are on a baking thing over the half term. We got the usborne baking with children book from schoollink and it has some great ideas. I just need inspiration sometimes. I heart my bero book and have bought one for my friend for christmas.

Flywise, house is ticking over, I need to iron tomorrow and pop a wash on, but that is it.

Me too mad. 5.50... having been writing christmas present lists for family. Have everything for girls except 1 bigish thing for DD2. Any ideas - age 2 and about £15.

Anne No idea - the second one is always harder. DS1 has loads of things that DS2 plays with, but doesnt really want for anything himself

I have only just changed our clocks, so it was 7 when ds woke up, butI've had two 8ams

Any idea what is wrong with the heating, MAD?

No idea re presents.....what is she getting already?

DS is getting second hand/recycled presents while I can still get away with it this year!

I'm also not good with car seats. DS has a fairly cheap Argos one, but no idea re reviews....

What do you write in a card for an adult baptism any one??? Quick ideas if poss. I have to leave at 10!
