Shannaratiger · 18/10/2008 09:57

Morning

Luda thanks for the thread. Glad you had a good holiday, hope you feel refreshed.

I'm off to a soft play area soon to meet up with some friends who I've not seen for ages, sort of birthday party for dd to. Should be great as one boy same age as ds, they all get on really well anyway.
lucy everyone needs to lose their grown up gene sometimes and rediscover your inner toddler / teenager.
tigger no tv how are you coping?
Sorry got to get moving.
Hello to everyone else., hope you all have a good day.
BBL

Shannaratiger · 18/10/2008 09:59

x- post TMH hope you manage to sort your mother out.
Run out of washing powder here, so no washing until tesco delivery at 5pm.

lucysmam · 18/10/2008 10:39

Morning ladies

Busy morning so far here, catching up after 2 days off. Kitchen is now thoroughly cleaned, towels been trough wm & lights in it now. About to make a loaf of bread once oh has finished in the bathroom & I've cleaned in there. Have hoovered stairs & upstairs as well this morning & cleaned the fishes filter

Have also decided that since J's dad wanted to sort money with oh, oh is going to deal with them & make life difficult at footy if he doesn't pay up since he owes the team about 3 unpaid £20 fines & lots of sub money but none of the other lads know & think the money's gone out of their team account on team fines & stuff for the team like their new kit!

Mad good luck with your mum, sounds like hard work on top of everything else you've ben dealing with lately!
Shannar day off from washing . . . there's a novelty!

BBL xx

Morning all

DP got paid yesterday so we only have to wait til Thursday for the cheque to clear (I managed to persuade dp it wasn't worth the fees to get the money earlier, and actually chea(per to keep borrowing until it is clear.)

I did manage to have a huge row with him this am after he said I should cancel planned 1/2 term trip to visit an old mate. Hopefully all sorted now, and we will get to go away still.

We are having a playdoh and biscuit making day so far. I'm going to try and do a basic clear up while dd2 and ds play.

Hello.
Been out this morning to watch DS2 play football in the under 9s team. They won 9-0!

Haven't really got anything else done except for washing and TD. Glad i didn't hang any out. Bloody neighbour had a stinky bonfire. They do that a lot along my road. Drives me up the wall!

I have a rather fat and purple little toe after managing to bang in on a dorr frame yesterday.

Need to o something useful really before DS's get home.

Kaplumbagadort · 18/10/2008 14:25

Well, that last post does kind of reveal who i am! Doh!
It isn't easy to do messages without revealing id! I am useless!

TheMadHouse · 18/10/2008 18:44

Evening all

We have had a day out and TBH the boys have been terrible, makes me wonder sometimes. Tried to get DS2 some boots in clarks, but only had shoes to fit him - pants

Anyway DH still isnt right.

Dones

Ironing - boys away
Boys Fed
Evening routine
Boys - bath, pjs and ready for bed

So I just need to pop mine and DH's away when putting the boys to bed.

We are planning a walk and a picnic tomorrow - so I need to sort out some food for it and then get all the veg ready for dinner when we get back.

RUby I would be glad that DH is uncomfortable with it, what a stange thing to do. Hope you are managing OK.

I am not sleeping well, neither is DS1 who has been up since 5am and is already really grumpy

Too much goin on in my head I think

AnneOfAvonlea · 19/10/2008 08:31

Yikes Ruby. Good that DH told you about it and that he is freaked out by it though.

Madhouse - any chance for some time yourself today? A hot bath or something...

DH is having a lie in. DDs have been watching tv since they woke up

TheMadHouse · 19/10/2008 08:40

AoA We are going to go for a family walk, which always blows away the cobwebs. I think that it is family time I need rather than me time.

DH is having a lie in too

Morning all

Ruby £9 a bottle!! omg! & I thought it was expensive here

I'm full of cold & have incredibly sore shoulders this morning & oh has still gone to footy regardless of the fact I couldn't get the bread or anything else out of the cupboards for brekky earlier without them hurting. He has decanted some of the monster 6pint bottle of milk he got yesterday into a smallerpop bottle though so I'm not without a cuppa.

Not a lot going on here, just stuff that's hip height or lower since I can't reach anything [grrrr]

Was planning on takng the lo to shops but looks like it's gunna pee it down here & I don't wanna go out in the rain, so staying here snuggled on the sofa sorting us a months shopping instead

Anyways, I hope you all have a good Sunday, I'll probably bbl

ludaloo · 19/10/2008 09:51

Morning peeps

Well I managed to get a fair bit done yesterday....still more to do today though.

My three all have "Hand, Foot and Mouth" virus
DD2 is suffering most, her inside cheeks are blistered and she has blisters on her gums, hands and feet.
DS has a sore mouth and DD1 has blisters on her hands and feet too.
DD2 has had it since the middle of last week and was fairly whingy on hol. Not sure what to do about school TBH. They have school photo's tomorrow and harvest festival on Tuesday, plus they have already had a week off! It is fairly contagious though I fear.

What do you all think?

Howd it go with your Mam Mad?

Went to see IGOR yesterday at the cinema (was very schmaltzy)!

Today DCs are digging in teh garden with dh and Im ironing. Party later .

Have a good day all.

beanieb · 19/10/2008 11:17

Off to clean the sitting room!

ludaloo · 19/10/2008 11:55

It is going around the village ATM. They are perfectly well in themselves...no temp or anything. Just DD2 who has a sore mouth and cries when she eats.
There are mild cold/flu symptoms with it too.
There isn't a treatment.....just have to wait for it go. Doctor advised Calpol to help with soreness or cold symptoms.

The older two are taking it much better but having said that DD2 is now much less whingey.
