It was in Argos, reduced, it is actually made by Simple human and looking on the web it is waaaay cheaper than most outlets for exactly the same product.

It is just wonderful. 'Commercial grade bearings'

here you go

I bet they are all gone by morning!!

It goes in a cupboard!

Otherwise that is the ugliest bin I have ever seen....

Which one do you have? First one seems to be missing a lid...would it not be smelly (even in a cupboard)?

SorenLorensen · 10/10/2008 19:03

you need to get a life woman...this from the woman who started a thread to ponder what mystery parcel the postman might have tried to deliver

opens thread expecting Brabantia 50L in brushed steel

closes thread in disgust

PeaMcLean · 10/10/2008 19:09

Come on then. Lets talk bin porn. Bring it on.

I'm looking at new kitchens and need to solve the bin dilemma.

Twiglett · 10/10/2008 19:10

get a life peaches

pointygravedogger · 10/10/2008 19:10

It is truly hideous.

PeaMcLean · 10/10/2008 19:11

That's a very thread killing remark I've just made.

But I do need to work out about bins.

You know the ones which go in your cupboards. Can you really get much in them? And don't they stink without a lid?

VanillaPumpkin · 10/10/2008 19:15

I have an almond 30l brabantia touch top bin. Now that is the most beautiful bin in the world.

notsoteenagemum · 10/10/2008 19:20

Me too VanillaPumpkin!!
WeLoveFabio think you mean most practical

pushchair · 10/10/2008 19:21

was cursing expensive Brabantia today with familiar complaint along the lines of 'who designed this?' ' I bet it was a man!' 'whoever it was didnt try emptying it'
This is because the handle inside, and what is that for Ive never used it, gets caught in the liner and it can rip and it is dammed annoying.
Can start ranting on similar lines about fridges, cookers and pushchairs.......

Twiglett · 10/10/2008 19:24

ahh you're talking about the 30L for which you are supposed to buy Brabantia bags and in which case handle makes sense

there are no faults with the 50L

but as I said earlier talk of bins involves the requirement to get a life

pushchair · 10/10/2008 19:27

Tis a 20L and um narrow or equivalent word in brabantia speak and yes I do need to get the particular liners which are only stocked in one shop in my town... mutter, mutter feckin, mutter

VanillaPumpkinLantern · 10/10/2008 19:31

Nosoteenage - Luscious isn't it??

I accidentally bought 240 bags for my 30l bin on ebay.....should keep us going .

snooks · 10/10/2008 19:38

MadameCastafiore · 10/10/2008 19:43
