I am so tired I feel physically sick DS1 was up at 4.30 and he went in and woke his brother up too. Managed to get DS2 back to sleep, but DS1 has been a little monster. Throwing his drink etc

I am dressed, but they are not. I will crack on once I have managed a cup of tea.

Where am I going wrong?

TMH - you are trying to do too much after recent surgery. Forget the housework today. Chill with the kids. Let them watch tv all day if needed.

EV Wish I could, but things go from bad to worse without some dort of physical activity in their day. Boys need to have their energy run out of them.

Nevermind DS1 is at Preschool next week and mums and toddlers all start again too

Mad lol@ your title but I know exactly what you mean this morning! My lo has been up since about 5am after not going to sleep until 9pm n is soooooo whiney now it's unreal. I agree with EV you should chill, take them somewhere you can sit and watch n they can run round like loons for a while.

I have lots to crack on with today, we're all fed and washed, just got to get dressed.

Then my list is as follows:
~strip big bed (again!)
~dressed
~wm on
~pots
~walk to netto
~call in at dr's for pill prescription
~co-op to pay n-power
~wm should be finished by the time that's done so washing out
~ebay more stuff
~start working on next week's shopping list trying to stick to budget
~oh to put yet another coat on back hallway
~OU End of Course Assessment to type
~ring asda, money's not back in bank like they said it'd be
~bathroom
~make pudding for tonight's 'date'
~play with lo for an hour without getting distracted
~write list of where I need to go for what in town
~polish living room
~hoover throughout
~mission - don't have any of those rooms so my own mission for the day is clear the junk off the stairs

That looks a huge list compared to normal!!! Am off to get started & to the shops, Hope you all have fab days! bbl xx

DD has been an absolute delight this morning She had an earlyish bedtime last night and the difference is amazing

(sorry I realise this is totally unhelpfull to the 5am crew! )

Back after tea

Sag DS1 takes himself off to bed at 7 as he is so tired. He used to sleep till 7am, its only recently he has been getting up early.

I have dressed them and made another cuppa
porridge is cooling

I am going to take them to a park

I'm just getting them back to normal sleeping patterns
What with the summer holiday they've been going to bed at 9pm some nights...Not Good

Have a house full this morning, two sets of friends are comming to play any minute now so I'm hoping the sun comes out then they can play in the garden!

Have a garden full of kids at moment and our trip to soft play has just been cancelled (friend poorly)so may get rid of kis=ds and play some games with ds1 while ds2 sleeps.

Sun is shining so when ds wakes up and has lunch we'll be off to the park, have to get them into school routine for Monday. [happy]

kittie at you studying psychology and forensics, much more exciting than the biology and education studies that I did. Education studies and psychology would have been a perfect combination.

Am off to make rousing(sp?) noises in ds's ear.

Back on the wagon fro me, too, I hope.

DDs both safely settled at school.

I got up this am to terrible rain and the realisation that I have left all our raincoats in France

I had to borrow a ladder at 8 am to go up into the loft for winterr coats to wear this morning, and stop at the shop on the way home this morning to buy cheap macs for future use.
I've also got veggie stew on the cooker for later.

While I have the ladder, I will try and sort all the stuff in the loft and bring down/put up as needed to last a few weeks, then try and do some actual FLYwork befor I have to go out again.

grouchy most of it's stuff that has been taken care of in one trip so not too bad.

Did have to take lo back to Dr's though to get checked over after they prescribed lactulose for her constipation ages ago.

I can't wait for tonight, just hope lo sleeps well for once! off to make dessert in a mo . . .

Hope kids are doing ok if they're back at school. I can't wait for new playgroup to re-open next week to give us somewhere free and 'exciting' to go while lo's dad's out at work.

Managed to get DS into school this am, he didn't want me to leave him (didn't like new teachers face ) but only a few tears (better than I'd expected).

I'll join the sleepy heads, DD was up 5 times last night! I have had 3 hrs sleep. (my new slepp routine is not going to plan as you can see ).

Jas My DS2 is quite a large size two so if your DS is smaller I might have a eain coat I could pass on. It might need rewater proofing (we got one at eurodisney last year - DS1 passed it onto DS2 who has lasted all of 2 months in it). It is two to three.

Well - I got DS1s school schools and then took them to the park, all was fine for 30 mins and then DS1 had a hissey fit at DS2 and kept hitting him, so I dragged him back to the car and we came home.

He has refused lunch and is still in a major wingey mood.

DS2 is napping. I am going to try making some Dora fairy cakes with DS1.

I am going to activly try to positivly parent.

DH said he will try and leave slightly early to help with baths He is a fab daddy and hubby.

I just wish MUM and MIL would be a little more helpful, but hey ho

Thanks TMH but ds is huge (and possibly a bit older than your ds2?) I got an all in one rainsuit from the charity shop recently for him (3-4 yr) to grow into, so I'll just put him straight into that.

I've got winter boots and trainers out of the loft for miss hand-me-down (dd2) and put a load of bed linen and stuff I never use (but dp wouldn't let me give away for some odd reason when I tried in the summer) up.

Now I just need to tidy up

I have 2 large bags of Ed's 3-4 and 4-5 stuff to part with. Was goin g to pass it on to a friend's kid but he is now refusing to wear hand me downs

Anyone interested? I'd rather pass them on to people 'I know' rather than put them in the oxfam bin

(That is me being interested in hand me downs, GO please)

DD2 doesn't wear dd1s old stuff any more (at almost 8) but that is because they have very different tastes now (dd1 dresses in mosytly boys clothes, while dd2 wears party dresses. I wouldn't be giving a small child the option of not wearing second hand stuff tbh, it is such a waste not to.
