Me too

nickytwotimes · 16/07/2008 19:47

I've tidied up already.
[smug]

Runs away before being hit by flying toy...

FAQ · 16/07/2008 19:47

me too - but in my defence only DS2 has gone to bed (demanded an early night when I wouldn't let him "nap" at 7pm) DS3 and 1 are still up.

harpomarx · 16/07/2008 19:48

I am avoiding the mess that I have made. Toys so much easier to pack away than unpaid bills and dirty dishes

whatismyname · 16/07/2008 19:48

I have done downstairs just upstairs to do

Jazzicatz · 16/07/2008 19:50

BreeVanderCampLGJ · 16/07/2008 19:52

The cleaner was in today, I live in a palace.

BreeVanderCampLGJ · 16/07/2008 19:52

Now 24 hours on will be a different story.

LoveMyGirls · 16/07/2008 19:59

I'm usually good but today I just can't get motivated, I feel so tired, I havent even had my dinner yet (jacket potato that's been in the oven since 4.30) maybe if i eat that it will give me energy to tidy up then you can all join me (those who haven't already!) what do you think? 8.15 we'll all spend 15mins whizzing around?

Started to 'sort' playroom, problem is only started so looks liks bombs hit it.

In my defence though spent most of the day glossing the new nursery

FAQ · 16/07/2008 20:16

ok I now have no excuse - DS2 and 3 now in bed. DS1 sat on the sofa watching Celebrity Masterchef - no reason I can't be picking up the chips, toys, clothes and everything else from the floor and tidying up in general/........

LoveMyGirls · 16/07/2008 20:18

ok but can you wait for me FAQ? I'm just eating my dinner then I will be running round like a blue arsed fly so I can sit back down again!

unfitmother · 16/07/2008 20:19

ok LMG - sounds like a plan - I'll wait for you to eat your dinner - run round like a blue arsed fly with you, and then potter around doing general stuff once we've both finished the blue arsed fly bit

JRocks · 16/07/2008 20:23

Me

DS has festooned the living room carpet with many jigsaws which I will have to separate and then put in their boxes

paolosgirl · 16/07/2008 20:25

Now that the kids are on their school holidays, I'm trying to decide whether it's actually worth tidying up every day - or just give in to the inevitable mess and chaos, and deal with it when they go back.

LoveMyGirls · 16/07/2008 20:34

Right I'm ready!

Ready steady go...................................................... meet me back here at 8.50!
