I've had anoher wasted day Toddler group this am, then a "quick" trip into the next town. I got as far as the car park before I realised I'd forgotten my purse, and had to get security to let me out On my second trip I got most of what I wanted, plus a lucky dip bag of hair accesories from the charity shop for £2which had lots of lovely big clips that I can use, but then reversed the car into a concrete post trying to leave Luckily our car resembles a tank, so it has just added another scratch. I'm not going to tell dp.

I enlisted the dds help to do some crisis cleaning when we got home from school so everywhere is hoovered at least.

DD2 got her report which was a very pleasant surprise Not sure when the Jr school one will come.

Bianca You will be fine. You've done so well recently, you are allowed a small setback to remind yourself that all your hard work in overcoming this is really worth it Enjoy your night out.

I've forgotten what else I wanted to rreply to now

Big and hoping all are well

evening!

well i did the ironing, hoovered front room and kitchen and did the mission which im pleased with. Also went and bought new trousers and 3 new tops at Debenhams in the sale so for £32 im well pleased!

eustacia i shall take your advice and try that in the morning thankyou! i wish id seen that earlier as it was truly god awful before having to pin her down while she screamed, infact i cried as she was so upset! She spat all the medicine down her brand new dress as well but thankfully the flourescent pink came out with a soak, it truly is rank medicine so i can hardly be annoyed that a 3 yr old chooses to spit it out, bless her!

well ive just eaten a whole thin crust pizza and now have a large rose while i sit and nose around for 1/2 hour on MN then im gonna go to bed with a magazine i think!

Hello to all. Following on from my brief post the other day I thought I'd have a quick skim through to try to catch up a bit before hopefully being able to come on here a bit more often. It's good to catch up with who is doing what.

Decluttering is continuing here. My au pair has been here nearly 7 months and I can certainly see a difference. I can't remember if I said in my last post that we're having one starting at the end of Aug and she is staying for 6 months. Her main duties will be childcare, teaching the children the two languages she is fluent in that they are learning (one each) in school, hoovering, keeping the kitchen tidy, ironing and walking the dog. Oh, cooking! Apparently she can cook so I'm hoping that she'll make tea a couple of times a week and maybe even proper puddings and cakes now and then! I must write out a list of duties, the priorities and the likely time they'll take.

My current ap and I have had a good go through some kitchen cupboards (a full bag of out of date stuff went to the pharmacy for safe disposal the other day). I just couldn't get far decluttering by myself with work, the kids, the dog etc. Another plan on the agenda is to get blinds sorted for the downstairs to turn the sitting room into a spare bedroom as needed. Dh is working hard and is away a lot atm so things have got to wait until he's around for us to discuss things and then set about buying them, so it takes a while. I also have plans for decorating. Some rooms which are wallpapered haven't been done at all and we've been here 10 yrs! So, that's what I plan to do with the rest of 2008! If I can get on MN without being spotted by the new ap then I'll be doing it alongside you all. If not, I'll be back next spring once she's left!

EV I owe you an e-mail. I'll be in touch soon.
