Kitty I find tidying the toys and running the hoover round can fool dp into thinking I have done more sometimes. My dp isn't keen on my mumsnet habit, but he's just had to get used to it over the years!

I'm taking the dc to the town for ome kind of "fun day" this morning, and was going to shop this pm, bu dp wants me to wait tilhe gets home so he can have my parking space, so I guess I'll be shopping in the vening, and maybe soting out homework this afternoon.

We have tickets for the local festival today. We usually take the kids during the day, then drop them back to babysitters so we can go back in teh eve for teh music (Paul Simon, Beverly Knight and The Bangles this eve ) It's been raining all night though so I'm not sure how long we'll take the kids for this year if it's going to be wet and muddy.

Do we ever hear from simply these days?

morning jas ehm and bianca bianca enjoy the festival sounds good

dd did sleep much better last night she was asleep by 7.45 and didnt wake til 7am so look slike i need to kick her out buggy more so she doesnt have an afternoon nap. think the walk must have worn her out tho i had to give her her inhaler in the night, she didnt wake up but her breathing was bad she takes it so much better when she is asleep.
wish i could have slept as well as she did. we have very thin walls here and my neighbours were up from 3.30- just before 5 and were having some rather load- ahem- adult fun!!
so i'm still shattered today
need to do minimul flying today. have scrubbed my travel cot it has come back from dd dads stinking of smoke. his sister helped herself to it so her friend could stay over while he was away and they have smoked around it cos it stinks. i told my cousin that her soon to be inlaws could borrow it for a tiny baby when they come over from south africa in a couple of weeks for the wedding. not onl,y did it stink of smoke they cant have used a sheet as there was a milk stain on the matress and sticky handprints all round the edge where the little one has pulled itself up- i assume
so waiting for it to dry now so i can make sure it no longer smells, looks like i have the stains out.
off to get some breakfast now dc are eating just need to sort myself out

Now its the weekend and after ive slept like a log! Do you all have a break from the cleaning housechores?

I so wanted to paint our front door today but its pouring down....bbbaahhh!!

I do the basic routine, change our bed and do the weekly shop on a Saturday, more if dp is at work and the children are entertained.

According to FLYlady it is family fun day today, and we are supposed to have a break.

jas not stressing just busy with blardy decorating/cleaning & getting things repaired before we put our house back on the market. was aiming to get estate agents out again today probably next weekend now. How's you?

My oven shelf was sitting in it's bag this morning all sparkly
My oven door was sitting in the bag this morning 90% sparkly - have just put it back in bag as there was an area which didn't seem to be imersed because of shelf.
I have the other shelf do do later.

Oven doesn't look so great but I am expecting to have to scrub that.

I can't keep up with everyone either yet - there seemm to be so many of us now. Sorry.

Another busy day. DTDs are going for a dance taster this monrning. Party this afternoon and I also have to try and find soem red/green hairspray for a party tomorrow.
In amongst all of that I have to try and finish my oven....and I must do double hotspots as I did none yesterday. Somehow I don't think I will get on MN much today.

sms good luck finding coloured hairsprays if all else fails boots usually have some. just bit more than the claires accesorie/poundshop price range.
its not raining here yet but we have big black clouds overhead so sure its not gonna be dry for long

think it was babyjjbaby that was talking about putting things on ebay- there a 5p listing day on tuesday 8th july- thats when all my bits will be going on i have quite a few bits i can put on. so decluttering will be going well

Yes I was planning on trying Claires. There is a boots next door though. Do you think it is worth trying hte local chemist first?

Personally I find I don't make as much money on 5p listing days....as there is a lot more competition.
