Thanks for advice today everyone. Have self-diagnosed myself as having anxiety rather than depression. Am going to work through this self-help course and see if it helps me manage things better. If not will go to Doctors and try not to cry

dylsmum1998 · 02/07/2008 18:37

oops clicked send before i had finished
i did tick that i would like more info on bursary on the form i just filled in.
there ar more children than places for the trip so its going to be a lucky dip draw to see who goes will find out next week if ds gets a place. i dont want him to miss out by not being able to afford it, i'd never tell him it may mean not having family trip next year if he went but he would prob work it out for himself. we have to pay £155 deposit by 30th sept. which i'll manage somehow if i have to but help would be great

BiancaCastafiore · 02/07/2008 19:08

Having a rubbish afternoon with the kids I have moaned and found fault with the pair of them ever since they came in I'm tired but that's no excuse, I'm just a miserable mummy today.
The kitchen remains half tidied from earlier and the kids beds still need remaking

BiancaCastafiore · 02/07/2008 19:11

bianca sorry your having a bad day. hope you get some sleep and feel better tomorow.
i dont have my meal planner on laptop. i write it each week as i go along. i work out what i ahve in the freezer and plan from there. asking dc what they would like for some of the meals in the week. i'm not organized enough to have a rotating meal plan

biglips seems you are getting on with fly realy wel

have just looked at the missions i havent done this week and without getting off my bum i have
todays mission done nothing in hall except pram and nowhere else for it
yesterday mission done no dinng room
so just mondays mission to go- have no excuse there so suppose i best get on with it as does really need doing

biglips · 02/07/2008 20:32

thanks

my biggest weakness (or mistake) that i had was a massive pile of clean washing that needed to be put away (so now i do one wash per day and not loads in one day) and pile of dishes left till in the morning. Its mostly the de-cluttering i need to get going...

dylsmum1998 · 02/07/2008 21:13

i think that those are things which many of us are guilty of (i know i am and have heard others mention that they do)
de-cluttering is the key. iam getting there with mine. i need to be more ruthless but i am naturally a hoarder but i am definately not as bad as i was. i aim to have decluttered by the end of th eyear, so when i move i only take what i need with me so the new house will be perfect from the start
well thats the plan anyway i am definately moving towards it but a long way to go yet

i do need to get off here as i still need to do my hotspots think i'm gonna set a timer that usually brings out my competitive streak and i actually get some thing done!

babyjjbaby · 02/07/2008 21:19

hi everyone been to town on me bike whilst ma looked after the baby think ineed a new bike tho might ask again on freecycle i was shattered when i got back i went to furniture recyling project to see if they had a bed but they haven't the cheapes was a new one which was £45 which i haven't got been putting a few bits on ebay but can't put much cos the fees are so high when u put alot on lol

tortoise · 02/07/2008 21:26

Evening all.
I am shattered!
I did get the house looking okish. Washing didn't get put away. No bedroom to chuck it in so i will have to put it away soon.
Off to a farm with pre-school tomorrow. Should be fun!

Meeting at secondry school was ok. Main uniform inc blazer has no logo so can be bought anywhere (phew). On the other hand P.E kit does have logo and all in will cost £34.50. Didn't have enough on me so will have to get it later. I did get school tie which was only £3.

tortoise · 02/07/2008 21:27

Babyjj Do you use the turbo lister? Fees seem less that way when i upload a lot in one go. Does mean they all end at the same time though.

babyjjbaby · 02/07/2008 21:33

whats turbo lister lol

tortoise · 02/07/2008 21:35

Babyjj Look here I find it very useful and much quicker to list.

dylsmum1998 · 02/07/2008 21:46

tort glad you got on ok at school at cost of uniform. can you get grants or anything to help? (hopeless emoticon i know nothing about these things)

have spent 15 mins in the living room and it does look better have cleared the clutter its actually tidy i give it til 9.30am tomorrow til it needs doing again

tortoise · 02/07/2008 21:49

Dyls I don't know actually. I am worried because DS2 will need some new bits for Sept as will DD1 and DD2. Especially shoes! Oh and DS1 only allowed black, grey or maroon coat for school so he will need a new one.

dylsmum1998 · 02/07/2008 21:52

i remember my mum getting some help when i started secondary but was a long time ago now, i think she used to get it from the council
perhaps phone the school for a discreet check they should be able to tell you if any help is avaialble

its hard enough getting the school uniform for primary school sorted let alone how much they need for secondary

tortoise · 02/07/2008 21:58
