littlemissloopy · 01/07/2008 14:34

The word "extraction" makes me want to emigrate!!...and not return any time soon! I just think of great big hufty digger trucks bashing about rocks in a quarry somewhere....why can't they call it something a bit less harsh

littlemissloopy · 01/07/2008 14:35

/\ LALALALA I can't hear you!

BiancaCastafiore · 01/07/2008 14:35

I must go and collect ds (need to go via the PO) I just can't seem to be bothered....
I hope he'll be happy to come home and lounge in the garden with me.
My parents are coming later this afternoon to share a cream tea we brought back from Cornwall with us

BiancaCastafiore · 01/07/2008 14:36

LOL Loopy, you'll be fine

littlemissloopy · 01/07/2008 14:37

ooooh cream tea! I don't actually drink tea...or coffee....but if I did, the idea of a cream tea from Cornwall would be great

dylsmum1998 · 01/07/2008 14:41

lml i had a tooth out when i was a teen to have my brace fitted.it was fine-no horror story here

wow ifound someone else who doesnt like tea/coffee either, thought i was only person in world that doesnt like either

Jas · 01/07/2008 15:01

I didn't drink tea/coffee til I left home and started my nurse training and needed something to dunk biscuits in I drink tea so weak it is really a waste of a tea bag.
It was that or start smoking though.

I'm sure your tooth removal will be fine. I had teeth taken out for braces too without problems.

Bianca - Please will you forward me TMHs spread sheet thingy. Thanks.

My calendar has 6 columns...one for each of us, and a spare which I use for my menus

Yr 2 show was ok. Had to stand at the back and keep ds in buggy in foyer as when I tried getting him out he squirmed away and ran into the children.

biglips · 01/07/2008 15:01

phew! i never had braces when i was a teen but i wanted one as my brother had one!

gosh im knackered now as ive decided this week (babystep-ish) is mostly DECLUTTERING

i am planning to 3-5 jobs in the morning (about 10 - 15mins each) and 3-5 jobs in the afternoon (about 15 - 60 mins each) so i can have the evening free so i can recover whilst im 7 months pg (im finding babysteps is tooooo slow for me as its mainly decluttering the house im aiming for and cleaning in between as the house is already mostly clean).

morning

  1. Got DD up, dressed and took her to preschool done

  2. Clean up and put dishes away (after i realised the dishwasher was broke from last night!!) done

  3. Spent half an hour on paperwork (as dp is self employed and i had to chase up payments) done

  4. Declutter my bedroom & hoovered - 15 minutes done

  5. Tea is sorted for tonight done afternoon

  6. Lunch done

  7. swish and swipe kitchen done

  8. Declutter and hoovered in my bedroom again - 1 hour done

  9. Hoovered on the landing done

  10. swish and swipe bathroom done

  11. tidy up living room - 15 mins - still left to do.

Gotta take my DD up for a bath now.

babyjjbaby · 01/07/2008 15:23

Jas · 01/07/2008 15:39

I've just removed a bin bag of too small/rubbish clothes from dd2s wardrobe.
I'm going to hide it as if she sees it she will want it back, but it is all awful. Not even fit for the charity shop, so will be going straight to recycling.

scattyspice · 01/07/2008 16:09

I hardly ever have clothes in a fit state for charity shop either Jas. The AH stuff was on the AH chat thread (site stuff) haven't read properly though.

Decluttering is the way biglips .

LOL at Loopy!

DS back from school trip, he is jiggered (not as much as the helpers though lol).

Tis v hot here. Will go to shops after tea.

EHM Will text when my mobile is better as it is unwell at the moment, we must get together when you are down.

We have just come back from the beech - it was bliss. I picked DS1 up from Preschool and had packed drinks, shorts and spades. I didnt think they would want to go in the water - how wronng I was. Mine were the two curly haired boys running in nad out in the nude

I love afternoons like this as it is so enid blighton and everything I want for them.

They were so good they even got an ice cream .

I am just doing cheese on toast as a lazy tea and then it will be baths etc.

evening all hope all are ok, am being a total failure at flying at the mo, everything else is just on top of me and I can't quite make the effort, i am tickling about here and there but not making any real difference. Off to London tomorrow and not back until Thursday night so there'll be no flying then either. TMH I am also in love with my organised mum stuff.
