morning loopy
naff weather today not sure what i'm going to do, think i may make a shopping list and go and get the food while i only have dd,d will be easier with just one chld me thinks.
also need to stop avoiding the ironing- its a bit of a big pile to not see it anymore

littlemissloopy · 21/06/2008 08:24

Well it is pouring down with rain here today, which is making me think I should stay home and tidy the house really.

I'm in hospital on Tuesday (to be sterilised) so I need to sort the house so DH can keep on top of it.
All my Avon orders arrive on Monday too so its a bit of a rush to get them sorted out before I go in! I'm hoping I'll be out the same day, but I expect I'll be very uncomfortable for a day or so.

Well I'm off for some brekkie

i have friends/family who have been sterilzed and had several days of feeling sore, if you dont get your avon orders out before you go,is there a time limit to have it done by? i remember my old avon lady being sterilised and she was sore for nearly a week so sent little notes before going in that they would be about a week late, unless you wanted to collect from her. (not a prob for me as i lived opposite, not sure how practical that would be for you)

mummymusings · 21/06/2008 08:31

A lot of my customers know I'm going in, but my DH has said he will drop them to people for me. I don't have to actually pay Avon for another 2 weeks, so hopefully I'll be ok. I'm just going to try and do as many as I can on Monday and Tuesday morning I think.
I didn't actually think of sending a note to people. Maybe the ones I can't get out I'll phone them and let them know.

Morning MM You have been busy this morning!!!

when youve spent the past 3 days on mn all day while dh is away yes!! especially when he's back today! an especially when mn is your naughty secret so cant blame you all!

Jas · 21/06/2008 09:23

It is just another day MMJ

I was supposed to be spending the day in the park with the dds bu not sure §i can face it in the rain all day.

I actually finished most of my jobs yesterday, and even did some of todays(I did the shopping last night once dp was in) but also managed to fall over in the street with ds in my arms yesterday so I'm feeling a bit bruised this morning.

When I got back from the shopping last night, dp had all three dc up watching a video[grr] so they all slept in this morning

I think notes/phone call is a good idea for those you don't catch on Monday LittleMissBig for Bianca, Dylsmum, and MM

mummymusings · 21/06/2008 09:31

escalators are scary arent they Mummymusings. witnessed a nasty accident on them in our local shopping centre. an elderly person got off, the going up ones, with her shopping put it down right in front of the escaltors, the person behng her fell over her and all the people behind were falling over them and back down them, people were on with small children and having to pass them over the pile of peops to others so they didnt get hurt cos the stop button was at the bottom and no-one down there understood what was happening to switch it off. was not nice at all. very glad i had my nephew that day as he was in a pram so i'd gone up in the lift was not nice to watcch tho

dylsmum1998 · 21/06/2008 09:38

"lovely and clean" not sur ethat could be applied to my house- well its clean but messy!

littlemissloopy · 21/06/2008 09:48

Right...have just spent 20 mins chatting to Bianca and I am soooo !!
Beautiful villa, with a gorgeous pool and big sandy beaches
Lovely!

I haven't actually moved from the computer yet! Kids are nagging me to build a train track...and the house is still atip...so better get on.

Nice to chat with you Bianca

BiancaCastafiore · 21/06/2008 10:05

nice to chat to you too Loopy

We are still unsure what to do. The rain has stopped but it's very wet outside. The kids are reluctant to get dressed or do anything much.
I feel it's OK to have a day just hanging out at the holiday villa (it's lovely and has everything we need), a holiday is about having time to just be together even if it's just spending time playing board games etc, whereas dh feels we have to go and do something every day....

I think I'll encourage dd to come for a swim, she could hardly swim at all last week and last night swam her first width of the pool [proud]

Jas · 21/06/2008 10:05

Bianca Glad you are enjoying it though

"lovely and clean"....the people with lovely clean houses think we are mad on here. This is not so lovely and clean ville, but trying to get better!
Very scary escalator stories....I took dds on an escalator when dd2 was only a few weeks old in the double buggy....she wasn't strapped in and I tipped her onto the escalator. Thankfully my friend was in front to catch her and no harm was done.

I managed to trip backwards in the street over a selection of children, with all my neighbours out Thankfully they are lovely people and I had lots of help, and I didn't squash any children, but it hasn't helped the back ache I already had!

I'm beinge turfed off to let dd2 on here now, so I may be back later...
