tort glad cake went well- have a good day.

i have all of yesterdays list to get thourhg today- but i'm going to the dockyard instead with friends. so doubt i'll get much done - will see what i manage before we go.
on the plus side i have caught up with my washing- the wash basket i empty. the down side is i have damp washing everywhere trying to get dry. and an ever increasing ironing pile!!

Mum has taken to sleeping in the conservatory which means I need to keep the boys out, you would'nt think there is a perfectly good bed in the spare room (she siad it was too hard for her). She has said that she feels better here and will be here for the weekend

I am going to take the boys out whilst I do the shop this morning. I have loads to catch up on.

I broke my iron last night - I dropped it and the water chamber broke

Finally we have a sunny day here so we're planning a picnic at the park later
First is a trip into the shops for some odds and ends.
Despite the moods yesterday about making her bed, dd is helping lots this morning by stripping the beds with me ready for washing.

I've not FLY ed before. Is there a FLY tip for sorting out a hell hole of a house after returning from a camping trip? The kitchen is full of dirty clothes for washing, worktops full of stuff for washing up. I have a stonking headache which I've had for three days and two dds who think it's fun to play me up today.

take 10 minutes set the timer on the oven then stop and have a break.
(thats my interpretation anyway)

Well we have just come back from the beach....had a picnic The sun went in though and it got cold, so we came home and went to the park for ten mins. Kids are all in the garden and I am just contemplating tidying the front garden. I have no idea how to tackle the grass though....our strimmer has packed up and the grass is above knee hieght now!!

DH only just decided to tell me his mum his coming for the weekend this morning hence me being conspicuous by my absence.

I have been cleaning like a mad thing all day and have jsuy crashed on the sofa to watch keeping up apearrances (love that show!!!)

she is arriving a bit later today and I think everything's done.
