What keeps the whiff away in the loo?

Please recommend a product that works. I have resorted to using hair spray or perfume.
Is there a diffuser that actually works?

We had a timer sprayer ( or was it motion sensitive?) but we could only put it up really high , so I couldn't reach it to change it. In the smaller loo, it just sprayed you when you walked in , if you were unlucky.

They are now much, much better. When they were little urgency was the culprit. They are now very scrupulous with a toilet brush and we rarely have pee on the seat.
