Cleaned the kitchen, the fryer and sink and moved a few things round.

Lol Luda! Oooh i love cheese cake!

tortoise · 17/05/2008 18:13

Oh very naughty drinking out the carton.

BiancaCastafiore · 17/05/2008 18:14

lol Luda, although I'd be very if my dh did that!

Ludaloo · 17/05/2008 18:15

Me too....I bought a strawberry one and have a chocolate and orange one in the freezer for later in the week

(I am dieting really.....honest!)

OP posts:
Ludaloo · 17/05/2008 18:18

I hate it! I shout at him every time but he still does it! I absolutely can't drink out the same carton if I know he's swigged from it! (not sure why...as we have exchanged saliva on many occassion! )
Just irritates me!

OP posts:
tortoise · 17/05/2008 18:22

You need a carton marked DH and one he's not to use! [

Ludaloo · 17/05/2008 18:27

I have thought about that....one for me......and guests (urghhh I doubt anyone would want milk in their tea/coffee if they knew!! LOL)

Evening all. Manic day here today so not much flying done. At a baby sale this morning (baby stuff obviously not actual babies)then out for lunch, ran around all afternoon just trying to catch up during which time DD banged her head off the tv stand and had a big red bruise over her eye Am trying not to be hysterical first time mum but it looks sore and she really cried when she did it.
Hope you've all had a good day.
Tort Cake looks fab, glad DD had a good day.
Bianca Pleased your GP is being helpful. If it's any use I had hypnotherapy CDs for labour and REALLY didn't think they would do anything but when my contractions started I was really calm and stayed that way throughout the delivery. Not like me at all. Am a total control freak and don't cope well with pain. I know it's not really the same thing but I did find it useful and still use some of the visualisations now if I'm feeling stressed.
Luda Milk cartons are a man thing. Don't know any women who glug from the carton. Would slap my DH for it too!
GO Sorry you're feeling rough. Like the strike plan tho . Hope Boris gets back in his box soon.
And big hello to everyone else. Need to tidy up lounge and clean under the highchair butcan't be bothered. Will have glass of wine instead

Bewilderbeast · 17/05/2008 21:06

evening all

am full of cold and feeling crappy, ds much the same as me

not much done today, mostly out of the house jobs like going to the library and the usual load dishwasher/wipe kitchen surfaces stuff.

haven;t had time to read the thread properly but I hope that all are well and that those who aren't feel better quickly.

Jas · 17/05/2008 21:17

Evening

No FLYing here. DP has achieved nothing except to put up an indoor washing line in the shed, to reduce t/d usage n rainy days. (Took about three minutes), and I have lost the motivation to bother with the house when he doesn't seem to care

IVC - I'm going to join you with that glass of wine, and a bit of CSI

intravenouscoffee · 17/05/2008 21:23

Hi Jas
Have finished the wine... now off to have a bath. Have removed squashed banana from the base of the high chair so deserve a treat. Why will the dog not eat banana? Would make my life much simpler . Night all!

Jas · 17/05/2008 21:24

lol IVC

tortoise · 17/05/2008 21:26

IVC You need my dog! He loves banana incuding the skin! Oh and apples too!

[jas] I used to feel lke that when xp lived here. really makes you feel .

tortoise · 17/05/2008 21:26

oops meant to use * not [ lol!!

Jas · 18/05/2008 07:21

Moring

It is a new day, and everyone is still asleep (except for ds, whch is why I am up). I'm going to try and pick myself up and start again today. It is looking alot nicer outside, s hopefuly dp will be keen tod sme work today
(This is why I am so cross all the time. I can not completely give up, and still think every weekend that he will get more done this time)

Grouchy - I do hope you feel a bit happier today. I miss my bedroom, purely for the lost ability to sulk and listen to womens hour!

Bianca - I've very little knowledgeof hypntherapy, but wouldn't rule out anything that might help. Nothing to lose and all that....

I'm going to read my bok and eat toast until the rest of them gtup today. Back later.

TheMadHouse · 18/05/2008 07:55

Morning

jas I have been up since 6 thanks to DS1. I do not know how you manage without a bedroom. I love mine to just chill in.

DH is having a lie in today, as I get one on a sat.

The weather seems much better than yesterday. Plan is to get the swings up for the boys and then prep lunch and visit the inlaws. Lazy afternoon and then bath, gladiators and bed.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 18/05/2008 08:14

Morning Guys, Havent caught up with the thread. DD2 is doing ok, not as bad as DD1 but has much more on her face and neck so looks awful

Ludaloo · 18/05/2008 09:47

Morning peeps

Jas you never know, the sun might bring out the Bob the Builder in your DP! We can live in hope! (I feel for you, I really do xx)

FGS Awwww they do look very poorly with all those spots don't they! Hope they clear up soon.

TMH you sound like you are going to have a very chilled day

Well the sun is beaming this morning! Very windy though. Would you believe it...I actually got a lie-in!! Kids didn't wake up until about 9.10am
DH is still in bed and I am going to have a nice bath. I did contemplate the beach, but it isn't much fun in the wind.

I am still on a tidying mission too. I have decided to do one room at a time. Starting in the kitchen. I'm not going to move onto another room until I have completely tidied and cleaned EVERYWHERE. I made a good start yesterday, but still have a fair bit to do.
Then I'll move into the living room.

Need to get the oven cleaned early, as I'm thinking about doing a chicken roast for sunday lunch.
