How difficult do you find changing your bed?

I'm 55 and changing my Superking bed is more than a workout for me. I honestly need a lie down afterwards! I'm also getting divorced due to infidelity and it would be good to get rid of the memories. But what size do I go for? I'm not actively looking for someone else as I'm only 8.5 months post D Day, however I hope that at some point in my future I may find someone. A double would be enough for just me (and the occasional child (youngest is 15 so it's not common)) but I do wonder that a king might be a more sensible purchase.

I don't have any issues changing a double, but worry that a King will still be too much. Need advice please.

I have a superking and we have two single duvets on it which fit perfectly which allows us to have a different tog each and makes changing the bed so much easier.

Why not just get used to a double?

I’m disabled and i dread it. So much so that I gave in and bought a small double bed!
New mattress has handles on the sides so I can pull it across. It’s been life changing!!
